A Topic For Debate: Should Aussie World Introduce Annual Passes?
Didn't realise the Sunshine Coast had such a large American expat population. I don't think it is really viable for them to go above $99, and $700 for a family is mental...They aren't Disney! Just think of all the people that complained that the $99 Silver pass for WnW Sydney was "expensive" since you get a full year of three GC parks for that price. Market wouldn't accept it basically. Finally, not sure what the issue with the place being busier is anyway. It's still going to be a quiet park in the scheme of things, but it would mean their cafe would make more money, and they'd get more out of their staff who wouldn't stand around waiting for someone to decide to ride their ride.

Theme park experience
Hmmm, in terms of parks my list is. Movie World Dreamworld Whitewater World Wet n Wild Gold Coast Wet n Wild Sydney Sea World Luna Park Sydney Luna Park Melbourne Adventure World Magic Mountain Merimbula Aussie World Overseas Six Flags Magic Mountain Six Flags over Texas Knotts Berry Farm Universal Singapore Universal Orlando Universal Hollywood Islands of Adventure Pacific Park Santa Monica Belmont Park San Diego SeaWorld San Diego SeaWorld Orlando Busch Gardens Tampa Typhoon Lagoon Wet n Wild Orlando Aquatica Orlando Magic Kingdom Animal Kindgom Disneys Hollywood Studios Epcot Disney California Adventure Disneyland Blackpool Pleasure Beach Alton Towers Thorpe Park Legoland Windsor Chessington World of Adventures Adventure Island Southend on Sea Wild Wadi Dubai Wild Wild Wet Singapore Playland Vancouver Additionally I have been to the following smaller parks (Do they really count?) Jamberoo Kinkuna Country Lakes Entrance Funfields Puzzle Park Murray Bridge Greenhills Adventure Park Adventure Park Geelong Big Splash Canberra Magic Mountain Glenelg Dazzeland The Beachouse Glenelg Sugarworld Cairns Wonderland Fun Park Docklands For shows Brisbane Ekka Melbourne Show Adelaide Show Shepparton Show For rides and coasters, well coasters alone is about 120 for me or so, so waterslides and other rides would well and truly push that beyond 200+.

2014 In Dreamworld - Tail Spin construction, Wipeout refurbishment, Triple Vortex construction
^Just ignore the light blue slide in that pic. The dark blue one is the important one in the example that demonstrates how compact this type of slide can be.

You can definitley mash one into a tight spot if you really want to, Might not even have to divert the path that much, since so long as you are above 4.8m that is enough headroom for both guests and maintenance vehicles. This image help? Also, for a laugh it would be funny if it turned out to be a bowling alley...Can't have enough bowl sides in that park! Being serious though, I would really like a Tantrum (Tornado 24)...Great fun...properly turbulent, and they feel like they go on forever.

Doomsday - Potential New Tower Ride at Movie World
There was a thing years ago where he was suspended on a flying fox and went from the daily planet building over main street to stars cafe.

Doomsday - Potential New Tower Ride at Movie World
^Couldn't you just time the construction to coincide with a Superman maintenance period? Superman closes once a year for maintenance, and these sort of tower rides come together pretty quickly.

MW Mini Driving School - Officially Confirmed
That and the fact it is a bland layout with only a single helix. It's like one step below a wacky worm coaster.

MW Mini Driving School - Officially Confirmed
No, just no. There's one of these coasters at Adventure World and it is horribly rough and violent for something supposed to be for kids.

Water-parks in Winter
I did whitewater world in winter. It is all heated, but you'll be done in a couple of hours, due to the cold, and the lack of queues.

They could do a WnW Phoneix and just hang the side off the side of the racing slide platofrm. The land is there because when they first designed the park they probably wanted landscape buffers. There's nothing saying you have to have a minimum separation....Nothing a barrier can't fix. Have a look at the Tantrum and Raft Slide at Watermarc in Melbourne at the far side. The flat walkway leading to the stairs is literally pressed right against the slide runout.

you would just walk past it like the ones for the Little Rippers. The current path network would be unchanged.

Its always worth checking out past projects to see how quickly they can get stuff built. At WnW they started demolishing speed coaster at the end of april, and had the aqualoops open by September,...An entire new tower. Are they doing any work at WWW behind little rippers? They could have started without anyone noticing, since not many on here seem to go to WWW.

Adventure World 2015 - 'Mi2' Kraken Tornado slide
I've gone ahead and edited the title so people can skim over it. I clicked in thinking there had been an announcement. Boy was I in a world of dissapointment.

Movie World - Carnivale
Yeah but WC is geared towards families and younger kids. I don't see the issue. Is there an unwritten rule that you can only have 2 night events per year? The tone you are using gives the feeling people who enjoy alternatives basically don't matter and should just suck it up and go to WC. It's not like Disney, Universal limit themselves in this way.

Wet 'n' Wild Sydney Construction
^Missed opportunity to post this video: I'm guessing it was just moderate crowds...nobody complaining that the park was overcrowded on the FB page, and it wasn't all that warm.
