Seal Harbour @ Sea World
I think once they get more than 3 seals in there they'll market it properly. I wonder whether it should be the basis of the Easter marketing push, given the holidays finish in a week or two.

What should MW and DW's next roller coasters be?
I'd argue that Europa has a very good one. Also, I'm excited now. I discovered the K-Mart that looks like the Bermuda ride building, except its a Coles not a K-Mart, but....too excited to care! http://goo.gl/maps/psdkq

Should Movie World get more attractions?
^I think DjRappa was clarifying for AlexB about the sets absence.

Beachouse Adelaide: Water Play Structure Proposal
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/national/beachouse-owner-wants-to-build-1m-water-park-in-glenelg/story-fndo471r-1226554289694 Basically, the Hobsons bay council is offering a 21 year lease on a Beachfront site for developers, provided they upgrade facilities and the proposal attracts more people. The Beachouse owners want to install a typical water play structure. I don't mind the proposal...Would certainly add a bit more beef to the waterslide line up there.

things you remember and miss from the gold coast theme parks
The day I saw a person with two roast chickens from Woolworths at MW was the moment I realised the rule isn't that strictly enforced.

Fast Track
I don't really have a problem with a pay system, so long as so few people use it that you don't notice...The Busch and Universal parks are a good example of that. But when a large portion of the capacity gets taken up by queue skippers then that grinds a bit.

Movie World FaceBook page 'coaster of the week'
I'm a Cedar Point season pass holder, and once I was in line for Top Thrill Dragster, and this idiotic member of the "GP" said it was 1000ft tall and went 200mph, god I got so angry so I went up and showed my ACE membership and corrected him on the spot. I reckon I really showed him, he won't be making that mistake again!

Potential themepark resort for Perth.
Nah it got a few likes, so people obviously get the joke. Where was the backfire? I'd like to think $10 mil means a coaster....It's "too much" for a major flat ride considering the ones at the GC tend to be only 5-6 mil.

Forgotten Dreamworld
^In any case all that happens is the cab comes off the cable and goes onto a rail, driven by friction wheels. And gary86 please don't make silly posts suggesting a real life theme park should model itself on a computer game.

Wet n wild priorities?
Joz pretty much has posted the perfect stratergy. It's critical you do the green Whitewater Mountain slides first, and Constrictor 2nd. Constrictor doesn't have that high capacity either. Aqualoop you can leave later in the day, the line always moves quite fast. You can also get a fast trak pass for $20, and skip lines on 5 rides.

Sea World Storm Coaster construction 2013
Isn't the water coaster going in the Bermuda building? That's what the DA said right?

Potential themepark resort for Perth.
Just getting in before RWC and saying that there is a Eurofighter called Untamed at Canobie Lake: http://rcdb.com/9517.htm And because Untamed sounds so similar to Unleashed, that must mean Adventure World are getting a Eurofighter.

Captain Sturt Closed at Dreamworld
I love reading all these realistic suggestions. From what I recall the ride is elevated so a boom lift can get under. For the cost of moving/lowering the ride, you could pay for some cosmetic improvements around the park, or pay for a new attraction at WWW, or buy a 2nd train for Cyclone or many number of other things. Motocoaster is done, it ain't changing now.

Captain Sturt Closed at Dreamworld
What would be the return on investment of your proposal?
-
Forgotten Dreamworld
Definitely, if its cgi you could just have it on a computer screen...would take up 1 sq m at most.
-
Forgotten Dreamworld
^Well, it would have the right capacity for DW that's for sure! "The one attraction I'd love to see at Dreamworld is a motion simulator", said no-one ever.

Forgotten Dreamworld
How does the cost of that compare to just chucking up a shed and putting the ride in it, and actually having a decent amount of space? It's a foamer idea, especially considering the Imax has an area about 1/3 of the justice league building. Would you say to put a dark ride in the Roxy, I mean that has a flat floor right?
-
Forgotten Dreamworld
I'm not sure I agree with putting a dark ride in the Cinema....What's peoples obsession with putting dark rides in buildings with sloping floors (Eg the people who say a dark ride should go in the MW show stage).

8 stuck on Green Lantern for an hour
Those aren't pinch brakes. They are magnetic brakes, and magnetic brakes can't stop a carriage, only slow it.
