  1. Perhaps keep any discussion on Lethal Weapon to the existing thread though.
  2. Pics of Egypt and Madagascar from this page onwards http://www.parkz.com.au/parks/SG/Sentosa/Universal_Studios_Singapore/photos/page30.html
  3. Ch 9 keep viewers weighting.

Before I had even opened the topic I was thinking that. And yes you should post more often I'll also point out the irony of the opening lyrics saying "Don't worry now, I won't hurt you", when its showing a Boomerang about to be released from the drop. I quite liked how they did the spinning coaster coming out of the door and going back in the next one....Reminds me of an old school ghost train.
  5. Yeah, but you used the word "changing", as in: Its not as if they are constantly changing any major rides (Giant Drop, Claw, Wipeout, Cyclone ect.) The ride changed didn't it? Which was my point.
  6. Don't lie, no they didn't. Parkz has done plenty of Parkz Updates in recent times, and has done plenty of of photo galleries of the local parks, and ones overseas. We've never been told by a park, at any point, that they wanted us to include a specific random pic, and this is since 2004.
  7. Notice you deliberatley left Tower of Terror off that list
  8. The book was bloody well known though! A classic!
  9. ^And to add to jjuttp, I can imagine the sponges you used to ride on Spongebob Flypants being repainted as blobs of marshmallow or with stripes like liquorice allsorts, or squares of biscuit or whatever to fit with Gingy's theme. There's been no mention of any Kung Fu panda ride yet, so that could be it.
  10. I've added 60 pics of the New York and Hollywood Themed areas of the studio. At the park you can spend a fair bit of time just admiring the facades, and looking through the shops if that is your thing. From the bottom of this page onwards: http://www.parkz.com.au/parks/SG/Sentosa/Universal_Studios_Singapore/photos/page17.html
  11. I'm thinking Faire Faire is supposed to be a means of not disguising the fact that it is amusement rides in the area...A shrek themed fair in other words. Not like Far Far away, where its mostly supposed to be a recreation of that 'city', and the attractions reflect that (And even the coaster is hidden from the main thoroughfare)
  12. http://www.parkz.com.au/parks/SG/Sentosa/Universal_Studios_Singapore/photos/page10.html .....Bottom of that page onwards for pics of Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Dino Soarin' and Canopy Flyer in the Lost World section of the park.
  13. ^ I'm just wondering how one would go about making an inverted coaster train look like a Pursuit Special!
  14. I was secretly hoping Reptar was going to become a thematic clone Enchanted Airways, with dragon themed additions to train a bit like on Dragon Challenge.....The theming on Enchanted Airways was hilarious, and perfect.
  15. What are those cars anyway? Kia Rios?
  16. http://www.dreamworld.com.au/do-our-worlds-as-one/ Just spotted this: Family Holiday Pass - 2 Adults & 2 Kids $329.99 Same tickets bought separately as holiday passes - $319.6
  17. More updates courtesy of T-Bone...Now gone vertical: http://www.parkz.com.au/parks/AU/Macquarie/Big_Splash/photos/construction/ More updates courtesy of T-Bone...Now gone vertical: http://www.parkz.com.au/parks/AU/Macquarie/Big_Splash/photos/construction/
  18. Turns out the park has a Parade too, be warned it only runs on Weekends, and "Selected Holidays". I think this would correlate with the times they are charging peak rates for tickets, so keep that in mind when deciding when to visit. The parade was pretty good actually, similar standard to the floats seen in the Spongebob parade at SW, with animated bits and bobs. Add to this a number of choreographed characters moving along with their respective floats. Some included Jurassic Park, Madagascar, Shrek, Mummy, as well as generic Hollywood/Film/Glitz and Glamour type ones that you would see at MW. One such group I of street actors I thought were cool were a group of 4 1930s journalists in trenchcoats and with hats with a press ticket tucked into the band. They all had big flashbulb cameras and would all prance along, and then occasionally freeze in tandem and flash their cameras. 19. Finally have started to get these photos up. The first area I'll focus on at Universal Studios Singapore is Far Far Away: Newest pics begin here (pg 544) > http://www.parkz.com...rs/page544.html And the entire collection of USS pics is located here > http://www.parkz.com...otos/page1.html

Wait, Had I posted this ORP I did on WWF a few weeks ago? Fits this topic perfectly:
  21. But at that point, the cost of a new train puts a min $1.5 Mil extra on the price, so it ceases to become a cheap addition and the price sits on par with with some of the new small coasters out there.
  22. Depends what your form of categorisation is. Eg if it's simply Wooden v Steel, then obvs it's Wooden, that's why it appears on the Wooden Mitch Hawker Coaster Poll ballot rather than the steel one. But if you like to think of coasters in terms of styles (Eg Floorless, 4D, hyper, wooden, mouse, Eurofighter etc) then yes a wooden mouse is thought of differently to a full sized woodie like the one at Luna Park.
  23. So why is it when you go to theme parks with Boomerangs, it's often the least popular coaster? Because they are OMFG Crap, not OMFG Amazing.
  24. Better public transport to the parks
  25. colliric is a multi of RichardWilliamCollins so I've disabled colliric.
