Luna park 9 new rides construction
I wonder with new Big Dipper if they could have just had the station and first launch combined, Motocoaster / Jet Rescue style. Anyhow, I'm predicting they will build something like this for the station:

Steel Taipan Construction - Dreamworld Mack launched roller coaster
I have done Star Trek: Operation Enterprise which is Mack with a twisted spike, the launch isn't as powerful as Blue Fire (which I had written a few days prior) but bear in mind Star Trek has a lower top speed anyway. Its not as crazy as the launch on Superman, but it still feels respectable, and going up the spiral gives a bit of airtime and lengthens the ride time.

One thing I noticed about Joypolis is that there wasn't a whole lot of traditional Sega (Probably why they used "Joypolis" as the brand and not "Sega Joypolis". They had Sonic and House of the dead, but the rest was either generic ("Halfpipe Tokyo, Storm-G etc) or simply popular Anime attractions and walkthroughs (Attack on Titan, Ace Attorney) and even non Sega (Zero Latency VR, Transformers)- Splash Out at jamberoo officially closing to make way for Grand Gorge Falls

Yes TOT was LSM but with 1995 tech not 2021 tech. ...... Looks like the same train shells as Helix and Icon are being used- Luna park 9 new rides construction
I wouldn't worry too much about the rendering, It has other inaccuracies like the track and support colour being wrong, the trains likely to not be hot wheels themed, the big dipper entrance not being bright blue etc etc. I'm sure you'll be able to get under the track just fine.- Hotel V - Movie World hotel

Aren't all of Luna Park's ride names pretty average and generic, since always? Come ride "Rotor" or "River Caves" or "Flying Saucer"- Extra trains for roller coasters?

Yes, its not as simplistic as 'guests either go on rides or spend money in shops" and operators/designers do not try to "balance" those behaviours. As Rappa points out, guest satisfaction / entertainment is still the core product, and for that there are definitely some good quantative metrics used by industry leaders that design or operate parks to ensure that the average visitors does enough "things" over the course of a visit to feel as though, at the end of the day they got their moneys worth (It varies by the type of park) Guests that are being fed a good stream of entertainment will be happier and spend more, and linger longer and spend more. If they're not having fun they'll go home early. Excessively short queues are only a problem insofar as that you might be over investing and spending too much running a park that doesn't need all that, but if a visitor is experiencing 1 hour waits per ride, you can definitely say they won't get enough entertainment in their visit and investment in capacity is warranted (Eg extra trains, new rides etc) Edited just now by Gazza- Extra trains for roller coasters?

Because this will only have two trains so there won't be a need to stop a train there, and I think the stairs just come with it by default. It still needs to have a trim brake there since the latter half of the layout is designed to be taken at lower speed. 3 train models have a set of pinch brakes. 2 train models omit them, and note no air boxes for the brakes either.- Extra trains for roller coasters?
