I was just wondering if anyone had much experience with the new restraints for Road Runner since the refurbishment, and in particular how "large person" friendly they are.

For size reference, I fit (tightly) in the back of Scooby Doo. 

Certainly more roomy than the old trains

Yes it is, but I have a 6yo son who loves the ride and a wife who is petrified of roller-coasters haha

I rode the new trains recently with my daughter for the first time and had the same concern. Found them to be comfortable and generous enough.

As I guide I can generally ride all the rides on the coast but find Scooby and the Claw seats to be tight and probably pretty close to not being able to ride.

Cheers mate. Sounds like we're probably both quite similar in size then. I will have to just try it out with my son next time. My wife braved it in our last visit the other day with him haha.
