RCDB have added more details regarding the new superman attraction to their database. The attraction is still referred to as Superman: The Ride (as opposed to "Superman Escape") but the release date has been pushed forward to 26/12/2005 and the maximum speed has been named as 90km/h. This will make Superman: The Ride the fastest roller coaster at Movie World and the second fastest roller coaster in Australia.

Nice! I hope that top hat packs a punch.BTW, why don't B&M make launches often, if ever?

Wicked!! Can't wait!! WBMW will have yet another winner on their hands with this one

I mentioned before that RCDB are referring to the ride as Superman: The Ride rather than "Superman Escape". RCDB have made the following addition...

'Superman: The Ride' may not be the proper name for this roller coaster, but it will be based off Superman.

Having the Tophat Coaster and themeing it with Superman, it would be silly not to have the coaster go over a building as in Faster than a speeding bullet - Launch More powerful than a locomotive - Well to get the heavy train to that speed in that time you need some GRUNT!!!!! Leap tall buildings in a single bound - The Tophat Sounds like SUPERMAN to me.

Hey Inverted, Where are you getting this description from?

i would say almost every superman comic, movie, advertisement, book etc since the concept was first published many years ago.

Its been the superman saying since Superman was invented. I just thought if you were building a tophat around a superman theme, It would be silly not to make the Tophat themed around a building, Its kind of tacky but thats superman.

Ok thanks. It just sounded as though it was an advertisement for the new ride (taken from the original description of Superman).

Adam Where did you get your avatar from, Was it somewhere from movie world web site cause the rollercoaster track in your avatar liike like it goes over a building or something.

Hey Inverted, It's from Superman - Ultimate Flight at Six Flags. No information has been officially released from Movie World regarding track design, themeing, technical specifications except for the fact that it’s a Superman coaster.

I was wondering where you got it from too. It looks like something promotional.
