Hi, over the last six months have seen a couple of documentaries dedicated to roller coasters in the USA one was like a general doco about coasters in the USA and shows lots of footage of the biggest thrill coasters and is pretty recent as it shows top thrill dragster and i think the dive coaster (there is another one which has an old guy who is a roller coast fanatic throughout the whole show and covers the whole history of coasters - anyways I dont mean this one) and there was another one which has two teenagers going on different coasters and giving them ratings both were on Discovery or Discovery Travel have never seen them again but was wondering if anyone might now the titles of these docos or where you can find a copy would be great! Just to add to your post about roller coaster documentaries there is a show called Megastructures: The Ultimate Roller Coaster on the National Geographic channel at 7:30 on Tuesday. This is the documentary about the construction of Kingda Ka.

Also, another thing, Channel 7 is airing a theme park special on the Great Outdoors at 7:30 next monday (20/3/06) They are apparently showing KBF and MW from what i was told.

And, Beyond Tomorrow also had a segment on the RoboCoaster tonight

I saw the Megastructures one, that was fantastic. Did anyone tape it? Missed BEYOND TOMORROW, does that show get replayed? I wish I saw that segment.

Yeah, I recorded the megastructures show, but it will be repeated heaps this month on National Geographic, it was even on today!

Dam I missed them both. What was the robo-coaster? I think i've seen it but not sure.

Its the thing that is basically and industrial robot with 2 seats on the end so it can spin you around quite freely on any axis.
