A couple of topics about this but it looks like Arlie Beach might get a "Luge on Tracks" (Aka Alpine Coaster)

 

 

I was in Airlie not long ago - it definitely could use that sort of attraction.

I lived on one of the islands for a bit and spent a bit of time there. They're going to need a proper way to get people to the base station from the main street, as that northern part is very much less travelled. But hopefully this ignites more non-whitehaven or plane based tourism for the area as currently that seems to be all they have. And at the same time, they need a better way of linking PPP airport to Airlie.
