Movie World Protester

Featured Replies

There’s currently a guy dressed up as the grim reaper out the front of Movie World with a sign reading “They ignore safety, I will wait!” No idea if this is a disgruntled staff member or what.

My bad everyone, that was me. My Dreamworld Deflection Syndrome (DDS) took over again, had to warn people about the park. Thankyou @New display name for the diagnosis.

I'd say someone's been laid off, or its just an angry neighbour of the park and relatively harmless.

This is a pretty bad protest. They should have a QR code or a link or something so people can find out their specific concerns and what they would like done about it.

Is it ride safety in operations? Ride Maintenance? Food safety? Staff/performer safety? Cleanliness/hygiene? Digital safety through the app/photos?

If their concerns were serious enough they could report them to the relevant minister(s), or to the local media who are usually more than happy to jump on a fearmongering story. They could even come to this forum and explain their complaints and would likely be taken seriously enough that more than a few members would write to the park asking for explanations.

Saw this clown the other week had his kids there and they looked like they couldnt be more ashamed and sad

Their life’s must be incredibly dull if they’re dragging their kids to one of the worst protests I’ve seen.
