im just going to put it here since there is no appropriate forum that i could think of. (feel free to move it obviously) anyway, i just discovered the Ekka (Royal Brisbane Show) this year is going to have a portable flume ride. (as is every other royal [insert name here] show) http://www.joylands.com.au/pirates_revenge.php doesnt look too bad for a portable one

Yeah, its a great ride and has been doing the show tour for some time now since it spent summer? at LPS. Who is going to the Ekka out of interest?

Nice shots mate

What camera settings did you use? NICE!

thanks guys the pics were all taken on a Canon Powershot SX100IS using the built in fireworks setting. from memory, the exposure time is 2s. i think they turned out pretty well since i wasnt using a tripod.

check this out

Ok so we finally got down there today. A lot of the same "yawn", but I did experience one that wasn't too bad... It certainly wasn't the best or the brightest, but I have to give props to the Techno Jump, quite a nice balanced experience, without simply being a typical "spin and spew" like some....

I thought XXXL was a good ride as well. Like the Claw at Dreamworld but spun all the way around and the second half of the ride released the seats so they spun forwards and backwards - changed the ride experience.
