It looks like both Dreamworld and Whitewater World have once again redesigned their websites. It's great to see them keeping their marketing fresh and up to date. I have to say I personally think the sites look really good - very professional with some excellent graphics and very effective images used throughout. What does everybody else think?

I think the design of the sites looks quite slick, and they've obviously worked to incorporate modern social networking features, but they sort of fall flat when it comes to actual media depicting the rides....There are no videos any more, and most rides only have one or two pictures, and often they've fallen into the trap of only showing close up shots of smiling riders, with very few pictures showing what the ride is actually like. That's a good point Gazza. As an example, I noticed there are only 1 or 2 of those close-up shots for the HydroCoaster on the WWW website. That seems crazy to me as surely you would want to show people what the ride actually does. People that haven't been to the park before should be shown that it is a waterslide that actually goes uphill - and not just any ordinary slide

Personally I think a sound effect might be best for the Giant Drop. I seem to remember walking towards that ride for the first time and hearing an incredibly passionate scream of "holy shit!" from a young female Australian :-)

Yeah the site's nice but I couldn't help but cringe when I saw the MTV ad at VMAX today, even if it was in 3D... And they show two trains super-imposed on the Cyclone! :P Their YouTube channel doesn't have any specific ride videos either, kinda cheap if they're just favouriting other people's.

I reckon the new website looks awesome. Absolutely a huge improvement on the old one. I think myfun will have to redesign theirs to keep up.

What I find funny is that WWW have only got one photo of their Hydrocoaster. The second shot on that page is of an installation elsewhere. Overall the website looks great but as Gazza said more images and video need to be included.
