Okay so basically whenever I'm in the scenario editor and I edit the park details it gives me these two options: - Opening Time 00:00 am/pm - Closing Time 00:00 am/pm Whenever I set these (Eg, Opens 9 AM closes 9 PM) nothing seems to happen. No guests exit, no rides shut down, nothing. Does it just stop the flow of peeps entering the park? or am I missing something?

All guests stay in the park, It just affects the day night cycle. For example if you wanted a park where it was night for most of the time you could do opening hours of 6pm to 2am or something, and the game would automatically skip the daylight hours.

plus if you watch the clock, it skips all the time when the park closes. as an example of why this is the only way it could work, I'm always messing around with giant parks with nearly 2000 people. It takes about 20-30 minutes to clear the park in normal speed. if you can survive that wait, about 5-10 years in game time passes.

^No, because you aren't changing when the sun rises and sets, you are changing when the park 'opens' and 'closes', and then the game skips the part of the day when the park isn't open.
