AVPX Closing down permanently

Featured Replies

My pass expires at the end of June, and without further announcements of something MAJOR, i don't intend on renewing either. VRTP have definitely managed to keep my loyalty during the time i've had a pass. I can't see any reason why I won't be renewing my VIP. (well... i'll get a discovery pass next time around... but for all intents and purposes... same thing as far as i'm concerned.

Smart move. With the amount of new stuff Village has planned this year (and every year it seems now), why on earth would anyone renew their DW/WW pass? For a refurbished laser tag? I'd prefer Sea World's watercoaster. But hey, that's just me

I'm sure they'll miss you. I on the other hand would consider renewing my pass to check it out.

Isn't it likely that it'll be the same arena layout, with any AVPX references painted over?

This is Dreamworld remember. Due to cost cuts, they probably wont even pay for paint. Just chuck some sunnies on the queen and add an extra letter to the sign with a permeant marker, and you're set.

I'm sure they're missing 30% of their attendees right about now.

Depends. Those walls in the arena looked somewhat temporary from what I remember (they didn't go up to the roof did they?) Even so, a few blocked off areas here and there can change it up a bit.
