Analysis:

Timber is dressed inwards - they're not enclosing it for storage - the dressed timber faces towards the chairlift station, so this is to prevent people from getting too near the flume chute.

That says to me that they're going to open this area up to guests.

I'd like to see some tables and chairs - with an awesome view down the park off the edge of the platform, with maybe a coffee cart, maybe a 'snack station'...it'd be a nice use of the space without costing much.

Gotta be a shop. Would save them having to have half a dozen mobile carts always sitting at the foot of that hill if they could do it all from one official spot. Or it could be another drink refill station lol. Either way, I doubt it's anything overly exciting ?

No, im pretty sure these are the cars from the broadbeach monorail we were thinking would just be scrapped. Looks like someone kept/purchased them.
