What parks do you plan to visit in 2016? And what did you do in 2015?

As the title says, what parks do you plan to visit in 2016? And what did you do in 2015?

Me - depending on when I leave the UK, we'll try to do Blackpool Pleasure Beach (it's a yearly tradition). We also hope to do Europa Park in Germany if we can. Other than that, probably none - next year will be a bit hectic.

As for 2015, we did Luna Park Melbourne, Movie World, Dream World, Wet n Wild GC, Sea World, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Chances are we won't do any more.

2015:

  • Movie World
  • Dreamworld
  • Sea World

2016:

I have no clue tbh. It all depends on whether I can actually stick to a budget. If I do get my shit together, I'm looking at the general L.A. area, so Disneyland, Knott's, Magic Mountain and Universal.

2015:

  • Epcot
  • Magic Kingdom
  • Luna Park Sydney
  • A heap of shows and carnivals (not sure this counts :P)
  • Also not really a amusement park, but I got the chance to ride a Space Shot at the U.S. Space and Rocket Centre

2016:

  • Luna Park Sydney

Luna Park Sydney is a definite but I'd love to get back to the Queensland parks as I haven't been in a while but it isn't a definite.

- Fingers crossed for 6 months at WDW which would also include Busch Gardens and Universal Orlando

Had annual passes to all the GC theme parks this year. Dreamworld ones expire xmas eve but planning to renew them, and the others are 'till July next year (also planning to renew). Definitely got my money's worth out of all of them, and will continue to for years to come!

Sadly still no plans to travel overseas, our budget won't stretch that far atm ? But my family and I are hoping to at least make it to Universal Studios Singapore within the next few years, which will be our first ever time abroad, and then eventually aim to save for my dream holiday to the USA after that to to a theme park run.

- Luna Park Melbourne
- Luna Park Sydney
- Wet'n'Wild Sydney
- Sea World
- Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast
- Movie World

2016 is still in planning stages but not entirely sure. Do want to get over to Adventure World.

Made the trip out to Luna park to ride the scenic railway only to find out was closed on and off today due to rain. II had to walk into the park to discover this, so that counts as a visit, yeah?

Can't see why not, you were in the park.

Just got back from LA this morning, did a lot of halloween events, including getting much more than I wanted done at 4 Disney parks in one day, this trip for starters:

Fun Spot Orlando (nice little GCI woodie there)

Busch Gardens Tampa (including Howl O Scream)

Disney Magic Kingdom

Epcot

Disney Studios

Animal Kingdom

Sea World Orlando

Fun Spot Kissimmee

Universal Orlando (including Halloween Horror Nights & lights on tour of the mazes)

Knott's Berry Farm (including several nights at Scary Farm)

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Zombie Joe's Urban Death Tour (a haunt in a theatre space in North Hollywood)

Queen Mary Dark Harbor

Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood

Other parks in 2015:

Adventuredome

Movie World (incl. Fright Nights)

Sea World Gold Coast

Both Luna Parks

2016 Wish List:

Holy cannoli, that's one hell of a year!

^I did most of it in the last two weeks. We clocked up 15 miles walking doing all 4 Disney Parks in Orlando in one day. 12 miles doing Busch Gardens Tampa and Howl O Scream. 14 miles doing Universal with light-on maze tours and HHN.

I must say Mission Space was a lot better than I expected and Test Track was very good, it had some intensity. Escape from Gringotts was enjoyable, even if we were stuck at the end for 40 minutes and had to be evac'd. Cheetah Hunt is a really fun ride. Twisted Colossus was a good airtime machine.

Wait, did you just say that you did all 4 disney parks in 1 day? You must have cruised through and done only a few rides at each park.

^That is correct.

Primeival Whirl was down so we only did Expedition Everest at AK. Was telling the guy escorting the crowds into the park at the rope drop what we were doing and he slipped us fast passes for AK. Rode Everest twice and were out out of the park 15 minutes after opening.

Disney Studios, single rider line for Rock n Roller Coaster, and then Great Movie Ride. Didn't bother with the Tower as I've been on it before and it had a 45min line.

Went to Epcot did Test Track with little wait with single rider and Mission Space didn't have much of a line either. Wandered around had lunch there.

Went to MK, started working through our fast passes. Got in a few other rides. My mate wanted to see a concert at Epcot so we went back on the monorail. I did Test Track multiple times on single rider line.

Went back to MK, did some rides like Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder while waiting for our later fast passes. Finished up with Space Mountain, a few other tomorrowland rides and then Seven Dwarves Mine Train - which was ordinary. Then it took us an hour to get back to the car. It was a long day, got heaps more done than I expected.
