Still no movement or word on what's happening with the Vintage Cars at Dreamworld. Like the Log Ride, there is still no reopening date scheduled. Had a stickybeak today and they just seem to be sitting there gathering dust.... ?

maybe they moved it to a pretty shit location and a lot of people don't even realise its there, so attendance is down and they don't want to staff it unless numbers are up/during peak and save on staff costs?

I would think that they will slowly be adding in the theming and then the august to september maintenance will either be general maintenance or giving the finishing touches for the theming.

I think the list will change around.  If you go by the list GL will never close during construction of "Wonder Woman". aka Hyper.

Hopefully the WWF maintenance will give them to fix the issues that there are after the refurb

Wipeout went though a full cycle of testing today, so maybe we might see it reopen for a couple of days before going into maintenance.

A ride op did tell me that will be the case the other day, as is the general rule I shall believe it when I see it.

I rode WWF yesterday & the mist was turned on in the turn around section. Not sure if it has been a hit & miss with this element but I rode it a week ago and it wasn't on so I was pleased to see it on & working  It really gives this section of the ride a good vibe!

I was just at Dreamworld today and a few of the ride attendants were saying the Wipeout will re-open either Tuesday or Wednesday. Then stay open for a few days and close for annual maintenance. 

@themagician Sorry wasn't clear, I knew it was testing I meant in terms of it being open before maintenance but testing is obviously a great sign.

And FYI, they also mentioned that the new ride minimum would be 20 riders, not 10 like it was previously. Apparently.

That would certainly be a pain for those of us who love going in off-peak.
