Airtime installed on Movie World's hypercoaster

Featured Replies

Just seeing these pictures I wantΒ to go down there and ride it right now, even if it's incomplete - it will be worth it. Really great pictures.

It's certainly starting to look like a proper, twisty coaster now.

It's just an educated assumption based on fact a.) they're calling it a 'hypercoaster' and fact b.) hypercoaster's are "supposed" to be 60m or more high. No confirmed word on the height from the park other than the label.

Ahhh okayΒ :) Sweet.

This is something I looked into a little while back and despite Batwing being advertised as 60m tall, I can't find anything that indicates that the structure is any higher than 58m including the marquee at the top. Anything over 60m should safely be the tallest structure in the park.

Its over 60m. S&S advertise their space shot as a minimum 61m (up to 65m), so batwing might still have the height crown.

To add to what @themagicianΒ saidΒ it's a 56m tower with the marquee added to the top.

Regardless of the options that S&S advertise now (a decade after the attractionΒ was built), it clearly doesn't have a 4-5 metre marquee at the top that it'd need to reach 60-61m.
