Random closures are a part of Theme Park life and from memory a VRTP video said morning maintenance checks were around an hour to complete per ride? (could be wrong). If trades started at 6 or so they would have a fair chunk of time and of the larger works they could then work overnight.

 

Not saying its ideal, but its possible.

Not really saving much on overtime then, and you're not getting much done in 4 or so hours when you include time to lockout, secure and access and then clear the envelope to permit operation each day.

If you're going to try and do it outside of normal hours, do it at night. Start at park close, and work a shift, and that way if things go wrong, its possible to clear the park before open and get things back up and running.
