Where do we assume the ride photo will be located? Bottom of the drop or after the NI loop?

Neither of those locations. My money is on just before or just after the stengel dive.

Or maybe there won't be a ride photo, and it will have Ride video, or maybe even both (forward gets a photo, backwards gets a video)

I love the idea of video for back seat!!!

Love that idea it would not take much to do the video for everyone with today's technology.

Ok first drop being placed at moment

more containers have arrived looks like rest of lift hill and maybe transfer track

return run seems to be completed so just lift hill and rest of first drop to be installed

lots of work happening at station area

Where is shooketh so he can tell us how "shook" he is?

Edit: get a sense of humour people... it's draining.

Looks like there's only a few weeks left of coaster construction, which is great since that'll mean they have plenty of time to work on theming and getting the ride tested before opening. That drop looks even crazier than I imagined.

@Santa07 Exactly what I thought, and there is probably going to be about 10-20 metres of a vertical drop. This was the first up close look of the construction since Friday, and they have certainly progressed a lot. I'm thinking the lift hill could take a week or two to construct, but I imagine all track will be installed within the next 2-3 weeks. Train arrives early to mid August, testing begins by the end of August to early September.

So excited to see the big camelback now completed! It should certainly be one highlight of the ride.

Difficult to exactly tell since the camera angles aren't the same, but I think DC Rivals' got the tallest hill overall. Maybe it is slightly steeper too (which is even harder to judge). Of course height and steepness doesn't matter much if speed is lacking. But don't worry, coasterfans in Europe generally agree that Mack's latest coasters provide good, sustained airtime! As you may know, I've been on Alpina Blitz and Helix, and while I think the air isn't ridiculously insane as on El Toro and GeForce, it's very good nonetheless.

What makes DC Rivals' camelback very interesting is its unrivalled height by Mack standards. You may get a very, very sustained and decently strong airtime indeed ;)

Question time.  I see the chain guide on top but where does the chain go on the return?

Mack has a chain return tray at the top.

But unlike some other manufacturers it returns into the track.

I've looked over a tone of photos and can't spot a return tray within the track.

I know it's there somewhere.

Looks like it is just underneath the track in this image...

There was another near map update on July 9

Overview of the whole area:

Closer look at the main track section:

Closer look at the station area (You can see that concrete has been laid around the base for the start of the lift hill, as well as the location of the maintenance bay, load/unload area and queue area:

And the bridge is now complete:

Im thinking something like this (The blue part I'm not sure about, but based off the video, they may be using that area)

In the video you can see down the bottom there are walls, which I imagine will be for theming of some sort.

Quick update first drop to top of supports

next lift hill supports being installed may be lucky by days end to see full height
