If we were more organized we should have had talks with MW about arranging ERT and a tour of the new coaster once it is complete for Parkz members.

The coaster doesn't open for 5 months, that's plenty of time to organise something if both parties wanted/agreed to but I find that unlikely.

 

on another note, I guess we'll have to go back to guessing the theme when they down tools at 5pm and we have no more movement for 4 days.

Why not just do a Star Tour when it's open? I'm sure they have plans to add a component of this coaster to it.

Imagine a coaster track walk like they do for AA. This coaster might be almost double the height of AA, so the view from the top of the lift hill would be even more amazing

Double the pain having to walk up that many stairs  (although I found the Arkham climb wasn't nearly as exhausting as people made it out to be - still, climbing 60m is bound to tire even the fittest of people)

There's some very twisty track pieces!! Had a quick look through the fence just now. 

No sign of any airtime-y pieces yet?

Good point, but, and I know this isn't as steep, but I've climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge which is 134m and I didn't find that overly tiring at all.

I'm here with the stepson so it's a case of family first, pics later. I have a dozen pics from my SLR, and will take more when we leave.

I have no idea what is going on either side but from what I see I have the train going from right to left.

My thoughts are the A side of the support is always taking the direct force while the B side is to brace.

If it was running downhill A & B would be swapped around or rotated 90deg.

(My A is whatever side of the support has the largest diameter).

C I have an ass clench moment just finished and D you can now catch your breath.  (that is based on my direction of travel only).

How many more metres of track have we got to go?

 

 

If it is a loop this might be the location.

 

My A & B theory shows larger support on the outside.

 

I would almost put money on it that wrong because I don't know the what's going on around it.

I think you are on the money. The larger compressive force through the pole at about 90 to the track, the smaller pole to stop it moving in the direction of travel as the train proceeds through. 

I can't be sure because I don't know how the forces move & work as it goes downhill.

I agree with @themagician that @Skeeta is on the money here. I've flipped the Flash image to highlight themagicians suggestion in green.

I'm at the fence now - a support very similar to the ones in the zero G roll is now up. Where it is placed, I can't imagine this being for a loop as there is limited room to turn away after. There are 2 support areas now at the front - a smaller group near the turnaround, and the larger ones right alongside the driveway arch. Pics when I get home from my SLR, here's a few from my fruit phone:

Wow! It's HUGE already! Defiantly looks to be the G roll 

This area where these supports are going, is around the area of where a couple footings are outside the fence, which I imagine would be a part of the coaster that is quite high up, and when you look on the nearmap image there aren't many close to them. So I'm still thinking at this stage it could be a loop.

Also appears there is even more track in the area now too. Maybe we will see a piece go up this afternoon, if not mid next week

I'd like to know too... I'm seeing nothing of the sort. 

This race to join the dots is going to get really old really quickly if people don't realise that there's lot of different ways to join dots.

At first I was seeing a loop, but now I'm starting to think more of a large airtime hill.

After comparing more photos I regret saying it's a zero g roll. It's likely an airtime hill/or a turn around of some sort similar to this part of flash. 

Or maybe it's just to early to tell. Maybe we should just wait 😝

To me this looks pretty much like the supports for the track coming out of the loop on flash. The footings in the foreground look pretty big, they could possibly be for the large supports for the loop.
