Parkz now covers Australian Carnival Rides.

We have set up a "Park" which will contain the rides:

Ride Entries

-All database submissions should go into that one 'park'. Please don't add rides to entries like the one for the Ekka or the Sydney Royal Show.

-If you want to contribute, focus your attention on the major flat rides and coasters, rather than every little kiddy spin rocket ride that is about.

Photos

-As always, we are after high quality photos. That can even be from a decent phone, but adjust the colours/contrast etc as needed so they aren't overexposed, crooked etc...Put those media passes to good use and get your pics published permanently!

-Photos can have as many tags for rides and parks as as needed. At the very least there should be the tag of the ride name, and "Australian carnival rides", however you can also add a 3rd tag for the location it was taken in, we have database entries for all the major capital shows.

-For example, this photo has three tags: Jurassic Rollercoaster (1), Australian Carnival Rides (2), and Ekka - Royal Queensland Show (3)

-The 3rd tag helps, because it means if someone wants to search for rides at the Ekka, they can go to the Ekka database entry:

-We aren't after photos of other things at shows like food, arena events, cow judging, woodchopping, exhibits etc etc as that is too far beyond the remit of Parkz, but by all means include them in trip reports in the forums.
