DC Rivals HyperCoaster Website

Happened to stumble across a website the park has created for the coaster. Has a bit of information on the construction of the ride as well as side view of the ride with features and usual buy tickets stuff. Has some detailed statistics on the elements of the ride too including mentioning g-forces.

Wow that's pretty cool. Can't believe we haven't come across this before. That video is pretty awesome showing the Gs and speed you reach and various points throughout the track. Also seeing some of the rivals there are is cool

If you run your video against the animated one there is a huge difference in speed.

From the camel hill to after the helix the your video takes 42 seconds where the animated video takes 33 seconds.

Maybe the coaster had literally no airtime

I wish they didn't needlessly speed up the video.  Come on VRTP, you're building the best coaster in the country, don't be so insecure about it.

Doing things like that has the potential to massively backfire too, because despite this possibly being one of the most well paced, relentless coasters on the planet, Joe Blogs who's considering a season pass will watch the animation, then watch either Richard's or OurWorld's clips, notice the speed difference and presume it's slow in real life.

Realistically, the best thing then to do would be to get the best independent voices in the biz to create content that sways the general public & generate genuine, credible hype (because OurWorlds isn't known for POVs/videos and Parkz isn't known for great written pieces).
