Ardent still don't seem to be able to find a suitable group CEO.

Might help explain a few things. I know from my own experience that in a large organisation, if you don't have a good leader at the very top, everyone at all the levels beneath are severely limited in what they can achieve.

They're not looking.

Ardent don't need a group CEO because they have no strategic requirements beyond keeping Dreamworld barely ticking along until they find a buyer, freeing them up to sell off the remaining Main Event in either an IPO or a private equity deal at a premium on the share price.
