I visited EKKA today, and was very shocked to see this ride.

Of all the unbelievable stupidity, they completely failed to make any attempt to put cages on the log ride! No seat belts either. No lapbars.

Absolutely nothing at all to prevent horrific accidents. I wonder how many there was this week.

I will not be going to the EKKA again.

Mod Edit: Changed clickbait thread title.

1) No low-hanging over-heads.
2) The rear head-rest is used by most manufacturers now to essentially catch riders should they not be following the guidelines and choose to stand.

I get your point though, something something Dreamworld.

I don't get where all this craziness came from, post TRR tragedy that Log Rides were dangerous! Log Rides have been ridden by people all over the world, for generations, with few serious accidents. Many [most?] serious accidents stem from stupid people doing what they do 100% naturally...being stupid!

No Phd required......so...Enhance the DW Log Ride, put some serious theming in it. Vikings Revenge was a SW legend....turbo charge them both....I'd imagine SW's might need a complete rebuild, not been there in a few years.

Aussie parks not giving me too many reasons to visit these days.... 😟 I just don't see the quality in the presentation...it was there once....but struggling now!

What about this travelling ride I found in Hong Kong? No seat belts or anything...
