”opening in the coming weeks”

to

”keep an eye on our website and Fb page for updates”

The rectangular banner underneath the main billboard used to say “coming/arriving this summer”. It’s now been replaced with an ad for annual passes and afterpay

But SkyVoyager is still the feature of the main billboard ad outside the front of the park, even though it's STILL not open!

I guess the problem here is that the billboard doesn't say "coming/opening soon" or "now open", so people who see the advertisement would most likely assume that they're advertising an open attraction.

On one hand, good on them for waiting until it's properly ready before opening. But fairly terrible on the marketing/expectation setting front, not only is their ride not open (seemingly not any time soon either), an already cash-strapped park has wasted a pile of money on promotional spend as well.

Once again, Ardent clearly have no idea how to run a theme park...

It's not good on them for not opening it.  DW are not allowed to open it.

If it was up to them, it would be open by now. WHS is who shut the show down until the issues are fixed

So is this a Queensland thing or did Dreamworld screw up? Brogent have installed enough of these rides that I assume the ride system isn’t at fault.

It wasn't Brogent contractors who were doing the building
