The new colours, in my opinion, blends well in with WhiteWaterWorld and just has that really nice vibrance coming from it definitely in those sunny days it will look really good.      I can't wait for the final result of this coaster it has really been in a desperate need of a repaint for way over 5 years

Having been up in QLD since mid June and spending some time at the parks since reopening, I must say the colour they picked for the track is nice! Driving back to the Sunshine Coast tonight from the GC, it looked good and the white supports really make it stand out... Shame the actual coaster is rubbish.

It looks like an upside down Balter Can, and i'm totally onboard with that. 🍻

SideWinder’s appearance has been updated on Dreamworld’s park map. The map shows that the entire track will be painted in that aqua blue colour. Do you think this will be the final outcome?

There's nothing to suggest it won't be like that. If that's what the colours are on the map, then i'd expect that's what we're getting.

The track repaint is nearly complete, so I definitely think this will be the outcome 

I know it's picky and petty af, but jesus, could the graphic designer at least try a little harder to replicate the track design... or layout.

I think that'd be an improvement.

Just noticed that it seems only the big supports are going white and the rest remain blue according to the map.

nah i think all of the supports will be white for consistency and the map isn't that always that accurate.

Maybe the dude doing the design was high not just the design 😅

Bad jokes aside on my part, the graphic is missing the far reaching bend before the sidewinder and the loop after it, add the fact the one type of supports are blue on the map as pointed out by gazza and most of the blue supports are white on the map.

So doubly indeed, haven't there been enough park maps that are wildly inaccurate for people to take it with a pinch of salt? Not saying it can't happen but would seem odd to paint the tracks whilst not painting the supports under it, and the opposite for the other. Where there is yellow there is blue supports, where the is blue track there is white supports. Weren't the support originally white so why paint them blue if they were gonna paint them white again?

All of the supports have always been blue when the ride has been at DW (Until now anyway)

I must be blind than, I thought the concrete ones were always white/cream, and if that's the case than does that mean the park map is right?

The concrete foundations have always been the natural grey concrete colour:

Forgive me for my lack of correct definition in what I meant, yes not the footers, the steel, beams solidly plastered to the concrete footers not the ones with cross beams that look like oversized scaffolding etc... Seems I'm completely off base than, which is a pity because it looks cool with the multi colour paint that it does now imo.

To be fair, before the repaint, a lot of the supports around the station were fairly faded and covered in crap. 

New colour scheme really looks right at home with the WhiteWater entrance building in the foreground. Love it.

SideWinder’s reopening has once again been delayed to the 30th of October.

Hey, a few comments on themepark Facebook pages say that the ride is getting new trains as well?
