    Maybe the mine ran out of gold, that's why it's been closed so long, and the long dead ghost of Jack Darke (from the buzzsaw backstory) has been fiddling with the controls.

    Anything Australian needs Gum trees, with lots and lots of plum trees. A sheep or 2, a kangaroo, a clothesline out the back, verandah out the front and an old rocking chair. And Drop Bears.
