  1. As much as so many of you hate AA, the ride is still actually a prominent favourite for many of it's Riders. Without question MW will replace AA someday - that's surely inevitable as the Park grows. But it's not one that will happen any time soon as there's plenty more work to do elsewhere, most of you already know that 😏

  2. We must be thinking of different rides Push, AA’s theming is not movie like nor an immersive experience. The park had many better themed and immersive rides than it.

  3. Wow awsome. Dc rivals, super man, Scooby, GL were all operating with max trains😍 unfortunately there was almost no one in the park. Either the lines were work on or a 2 minute wait for the next train. Bonus, justice league was kept open for the entire night. As the night went on dc rivals, super man, GL faced a few tech issues. 1 train on SM was closed off to riders. Dc rivals lost a train due to a faulty harness not locking, and GL only lost a seat due to the harness problem. None of these impacted the line up situation wich was great. overall such an awsome event with the additional rides unlike last year. The parade and light shows were also a great effect.

  5. Takeaways from Winterfest - - The previous Wipeout merchandise store has been transformed into a european style "food stall". - Seating is out the front of the Wipeout. - The theming is extensive turning Main Street and Ocean Parade into a convincing European Winterland. - Winterfest nights is going to be amazing looking. - The theming ends at the Corroboree and past Main Street Station. - Kenny and Belinda have winter outfits. - Two ski characters roam. - Two people can taboggan at one time Overall the event was better than I expected. It really is refreshing to see a new theme completely taken out at Dreamworld, not half done. This attitude of going all out is what Dreamworld need to stick too if they are going to recover soon. It really gives the customer more reason to visit Dreamworld. The theming looks good and not tacky, especially the semi-permanent food stall.

  6. Thought I’d quickly post about the show tonight. Tickets were 5 dollars tonight but increase to 17 for the weekend. There wasn’t much going on. Mostly food stalls and rides. Casey Barnes performed. Unfortunately not many people attended possibly due to the wet weather. Vendors weren’t getting much business as well as the ride operators.

  7. Yeah okay mate calm down. I didn’t say it was a difficult concept I was expressing my opinion that it’s an unnecessary upcharge, which is my opinion, feel free to disagree but there is no need to become so aggresive.

  8. ^ A relatively simple VR Headset is a fun gimmick but hardly makes a ride "immersive" - A phrase that's all but owned by Disney, we really don't presently have a ride in Australia that fits that bill! WWF, SDSC and JL could all reach Universal standard for a modest few million - about as close to "immersive" as we're gunna get. After the recent down-grade of SDSC, it's pretty doubtful we will see that happen any time soon. The other Dark Horse, DW's SV could become our most immersive ride experience yet, assuming they ever get the thing open.

  12. Tbh I’d prefer quality over quantity. Last year was just an absolute let down all round imo...
