4 pointsLunchtime visit for @Tim Dascoand myself, today. The new slides are progressing. Two appear to be finished, with water going down the Gold Rush slide. The wave looks pretty good, although not vertical. Splash Island has new signage and Octopus Bay looks freshened up. Much of the path to the new area has been poured. There’s even a track out to the inflatable slide.

I do believe WWW is superior to WnW now - the owners actually seem to care about it.1 point1 point1 point1 pointFor those worried about the Salmon colour of the RIP, rest assured that as I drove past WWW today, I noticed the paint job on RIP had been completed and it was it’s expected purple and red. #Salmongate over.1 pointThis decision could be based off Dreamworlds announcements and they are trying to extend out the opening of their attractions. Also could be so construction can purely focus on Leviathan so it opens on time to compete with DWs new coaster1 point1 point0 pointsI'm pleased to see they've completely stopped showing the terrible video in the first room as you enter. It just shows the Sky Voyager logo now, and plays a few bars from the video backing track on repeat. Not a good pre show by any means, but much better than how it was with that video!0 points0 pointsThis at least puts the space to use but don't they already have a coffee shop across the street?0 points0 points0 pointsWell better than it being nothing. Mans seems most of society today is more concerned with where they can get a coffee than where they can see entertainment anyway.0 points0 pointsFor those interested by Tom and Jerry’s appearance at MW (WBW design for those interested) They are coming out at the following times 11:00am, 11:50-12ish, 12.50, 1.35 and 2.25pm and will be making an appearance in the parade as well Anyways, The Coffee Vault!
0 points0 pointsAnd speaking of Splash Pad.. The main structure has been removed leaving this
0 points0 points0 pointsI could see that if this wasn't a rollercoaster, the advertising of it and whole point of it is to go fast and if it wasn't called Superman Escape. The queue is boring. a pass through and viewing of the launch from the queue would make the queue tolerable.0 points0 pointsI wish more rides interacted with the queue. like the pass through the building for superman would be great if it passed through the queue building, and the launch was visible from the queue. Movieworld seems to really want the queue to be locked away from the rides, but then does little to try and entertain the people in the queue. Can't speak for DW as its been years since I was there.0 pointsJason Momoa’s handprints and signature in a concrete block (Chinese Theater style) have been recently added to the Aquaman Exhibition.
0 pointsThe "Large Items" restriction - to reduce the risk of injury to other guests, or hiding of stolen items from exhibit??0 pointsProbably not the A4 frame sign we were expecting but it will do
0 pointsThink that is their plan, an attraction like this then another ride.0 points0 pointsAs much as I think it’s great and should have a permanent place ( movie based exhibition), this type of attraction is not a major drawcard that brings people in the door, it’s filler.0 points0 pointsI haven’t felt so excited for an attraction to be built in ages at Dreamworld (not as much as for $30 hyper coaster of course) Coming from someone who’s been on Soarin at Epcot and DCA, I strongly believe this will be the thing that I think will pull people back through the gates and I strongly believe that you guys will enjoy the ride Re to other information that’s been reported I’m curious to find out what they are thinking of Mine Ride’s replacement but I do think that an expansion to WWW has been well overdid0 points0 pointsSounds promising, though the “could open next year” isn’t overly reassuring. look forward to the press release/ announcement today0 pointsThis leaderboard is set to Brisbane/GMT+10:00
