The show season has kicked off this year and the first major show was in Newcastle last weekend. Due to decent weather, and a public thirsty for public events after 12 months of COVID related cancellations, the Newcastle show saw large crowds over its 3 day operations. The event has been touted as one of the most succesful shows in the region in many years. Please see this video of the side show alley- its excellent quality and showcases the major rides brilliantly. There were some old school classics appearing this year including the Hurricane and a Trabant Enjoy!!

Just saw this on the ABC News website. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-03-10/luna-park-ghost-train-fire-survivor-breaks-silence/12224530 The article linked is basically an ad for an episode of a new TV show (maybe a new season, I don't really watch ABC TV that often) that's airing next week. An investigation into the LP Ghost Train fire. I don't imagine it will actually expose anything really new, but I thought some of you guys might be interested.

They also posted about their construction blog on Facebook. I had no idea it existed. https://themeparks.com.au/blog/leviathan-construction?fbclid=IwAR0C7wiaC5Pw0ioqnqkyys1iTMSlh_Gz4eTHgIJ6wi8l-CTxwSDUxOapcOM

Seems that Roadrunner is getting new trains...would explain the extra downtime. Taken from Vekoma’s Facebook page.
