Movie World have shared another update for the ride stating testing has been happening with Intamin, and after their inspections and testing, they will hand the ride over to the parks engineering team to commence their commissioning which includes the addition of harnesses and seats. Polar Bears. But yeah, SW would surely benefit from another ride (or, reopening a closed ride) before it would benefit from a new animal exhibit. But, if they’re gonna do neither & just make a long pathway/lawn, I’d have liked if they’d at least had that pathway contain (or be contained by) something interesting or worthwhile. And an area w/ some shade & AC, a passable level of theming, and a couple fish tanks, would be a more satisfying way to make it more than just paving over a ride for a pathway.

Word is they want it open, but they’re ‘waiting on insurance’. If that is the case, and it continues to take longer than expected, I reckon they should make that clear & have it closed with no known reopen, instead of delaying dates like other parks do/have done.

They should just take the ride off the maintenance page instead of extending it over and over when it isn't going to reopen.

I think it’s safe to say this is the end of this iteration of the vintage cars
