  1. I replied to you. You replied to me. (i'm prepared for you to argue in favour of Harry's comment between mine and your reply but since Harry was quoting me and essentially supporting my statement, i'll count it) The next time I logged in - which was notably 4 days after your reply - I responded. Thats kind of how a discussion forum works. This isn't chat, replies aren't instantaneous. You've been on this forum since 2010, so you've got to be at least approaching an age where you can understand that. It took me four days to respond, ironically, because I had something else to do with my life. Quite rich coming from you, considering: You posted this thread at 11:26pm on a friday night Posted your next comment at 3:03pm saturday afternoon Again at 10:22pm Again at 10:46pm It seems I have much better things to do with my life than you do. I was involved. I was literally the first person to call out your bullshit. I still think you're struggling with the concept of a FORUM. Perhaps you might try getting a dictionary. Its a typical Brad backpedal. you make an outlandish claim or statement - in this case it's unnecessarily sensationalist language, people call you on it, you take potshots at those folk instead of reading the room and going - "you know what, i got it wrong". It's really that simple.
  2. You're right, you never said same, you said similar. the implication was pretty clear, whether you intended it or not, and my reply was simply countering that implication. Just on this - the TRRR incident at Dreamworld involved a raft stuck at the TOP of the conveyor... so.... ❌ It seems it's you who can't understand the english language. You've defined Scary, and Similar as two different terms when in your case you used them as a single phrase - Scarily Similar. As you've defined them - Yes. The incident would have been scary for those on board. No. The incident would not have been eerie for those on board. Yes the two rides appear similar. However - to state 'scarily similar' implies that two or more things possess an uncanny, alarming, or unnerving level of likeness, often to the point of being unsettling or spooky. That doesn't make out here. Rafts didn't flip they were swamped. conveyor belts were not the cause of the incident. pumps didn't fail. nobody died. ❌❌❌❌ Survey says no. You've written emotively. whether it was your intention or not you've suggested things that aren't there. I think everyone has done a decent job of calling you on it and it's time to read the room and maybe admit you could have worded it better (if you didn't intend it) or you were wrong (if that was your intention). We don't need to spend the next three pages of this thread on pedantry. But I'm quite prepared to keep calling you out if you need it. You first.
  3. You'd have a post count of 50 on this forum if it wasn't for your incessant need for pedantry and trying to stoke your holier than thou ego and one up people. Did you notice how everyone stopped commenting? We agreed to disagree, its called being an adult - something you've failed to accomplish it seems. No comments for 3 days, then along comes Dapto - clearly with nothing better to do with his life, to once again nit-pick, quote grab comments that were not even made to you like you are some light of justice for all people who can't respond for themselves (except they did) - to once again try to prove: a) i know more b) i'm never wrong c) i must be involved in every conversation, and give my 2 cents even when i'm not involved c) i have to have the last say Grow up, don't be a dick (i know that second one is going to be a hard one, so just focus on the first).
