Whats the chance MW replacement for DD will also be called DD? @Levi

Thank you @Ash F$%k, the theming looks better without the ride.

It's Thursday now, maybe tonight wasn't the night. /s

This Gyro Swing is more suited for Luna park. If LP sells Pharaoh's Cure to MW to replace DD, the Claw might fit in PC's location. 🙄

Well, they are never going to duel without swords.

I don't know if DW were making record profits 🤷‍♀️ but from the outside, it looked like DW's profits were being spent, on growing Main Event.

You would fill in the hole with fill and add a topping slab. There would be no reason to remove the footings of the ride. The Wipeout footings and Wipeout pool still remain underground. The rapid ride remains underground, below ST.

@Guest 239or too expensive to maintain, is another reason why they get taken away. The slow death of an attraction theming, because the park stops spending on the upkeep. As soon as a park goes into a period where guest numbers dry up and clash flow slows, it's the first item the parks stop spending money on. It's a dead give away of a parks financial state of play, when you see failing theming.

This is the inaugural, maybe/probably last, Australian 2024 Theme Park Enthusiasts Awards. Let’s keep it simple. Copy & paste nominated categories. Nominate one choice for each category. Nominations outside of Australia will not be counted. After 2 weeks, all nominations will be counted and the top 3 of each category will be voted on. Don't forget people, Australia wide, not just the Gold Coast. The award for each category winner, is knowing you won. Best Food Best Guest Experience Best Park operations Best Coaster Best Family Coaster Best Flat Ride Best Themed area Best Show Best Kids’ Area Best new attraction for 2024 Best Amusement Park

I'm glad my ticket turned into a $10.00 donation to DW and I decided not to go. Being in that weather at a theme park, is not my idea of fun.

Don't sweat it @Ashthere is more stuff on the way for the temple.

This is correct which makes me sceptical, if the ride is coming down.

Is it removal or are they trying to fix it?

Buckle up buttercup, 2025 is going to be a long year.

@Brad2912doesn't care what banks say.

Afterpay becomes a debt the second you owe Afterpay money. Owing Telstra $1400.00 for a phone is a debt. The moment you put your theme park tickets on Afterpay you are in debt to Afterpay to pay that money back. AI tells us. Debt is when one party, the debtor (@Brad2912), owes money to another party (Afterpay), the creditor.

@Brad2912It's debt. When you apply for a homeloan banks take the view people who use Afterpay can't manage money and it can go against you getting a loan. Some banks have been known to ask you to close your Afterpay account before they will issue a loan. Afterpay even has a whole Q&A on how to shutdown Afterpay when asked to by your bank.

The responsible management of cash flow is, don't spend more than your pay packet. 🤷‍♀️ Don't care if you're using Afterpay, none of my business, but you're lying to yourself if you believe it's a responsible way of managing cash flow.

I believe DW have other ideas.

@DaptoFunlandGuystop direct messaging me. I gave you the opportunity to say your kind words to my face, but you wouldn't have a bar of it.

I hope you're not wasting your time by replying to me. 🤷‍♀️

On the contrary, it is DW taking the theme park enthusiast, who want a Lazy River out of context, no theme park enthusiast wants a barren concrete Lazy River. WnW: by all reports, about to install new slides. WWW: 🦗 If your using Afterpay for anything, you're living above your means.
