  1. I wonder how many of the 14,000 went into DW. That's 12.96 guest every min went into the Logo store.
  2. How old where you in 1981? @MickeyD I know about chair swing life.
  3. @JessicajealousyI think that was for the remote boats in village green but can't be sure. I always thought I was mad but when DW first opened I had a picture in my head of my older sister riding an Umbrella ride in the same location of the enterprise. Going back through old maps I think I have found it. An example of the ride only.
  4. I only have time for a stupid box.
  5. Front Back Note to self: I need to invent a couple of more hours in the day if I want to get anywhere with this.
  6. Dark rides are overrated. You can turn any ride into a dark ride by closing your eyes.
  7. @Brad2912 But you do want a dark ride and that is creepy.
  8. Is that you push? @pushbutton What have you done with @Brad2912?
  9. Mack coaster nuts not matching supports. A man would think you pay all that money they would paint them to match.
  10. Well that ship just sunk. I'm glad I didn't punch myself in the face.
  11. @AlexB Go to Parkz news and look at @Richard early StormCoaster updates. MW new hyper SW StormCoaster
  12. There is only one correct answer and that would-be mine. DW has lost its flagship family ride plus its little sister the Log Ride. These rides leave a big hole in DW line up. A smart man would say DW will replace the rides with a new family ride. I am not a smart man. This is where we will see DW’s true colours and finally find out if they DW are willing to spend any significant money in the park or is it going to be another MDMC or BS. If you don’t already know what DW is up against down the road, you need to get off the drugs. This area is DW prime land and DW needs to treat it that way. I’m going big here boys and girls and there will no room more anymore spin & spews. Craig you need to pick up the phone and call Rocky Mountain Constructions. (This is wishful thinking topic right?)
  13. @red draginDon't let they way I post make you believe I'm a child.
  14. Does anybody ever want to punch themselves in the face? Has the colour of the supports been looking at us all the time? What colour are the nuts? I checked Storm Coaster nuts and they are grey. Another thought I’m having is if you pull something apart do you leave the pieces lying around if you are not going to use them again for a while?
  15. Pull it all down and start again. Maybe a new topic on what we want in this area is called for.
  16. I hope that beer comes with bubbles. What are the dates?
  17. @Cactus_MattAt least the Joker would give me my purple and this is one of the reasons I'm not that keen on the flash coaster. MW already have a red track. If they go Flash I would like to see the supports red and the track yellow. @reanimated35 Since when have I ever been bizarre?
  18. With the track arrival on the horizon, what colour scheme do people want to see and what colours do you want to rule out? Colours in- Supports - Teal Track - Purple Train - Same colour as the supports. Colours out- Anything in pink is a no go for me.
  19. I'm no Doogie Howser on bar safety but that is my understanding. I also assume now the area is fully secured and no more work is required within the area until the next stage that it would be safe to remove them. The footing in the car park still has its safety caps on as this is an area that is not secured off to people.
  20. Interesting skeet fact. An incident occurred in New South Wales in which a person stumbled and fell, impaling himself on an exposed reinforcement bar. The bar had a rebar-cap on it, but the cap offered no protection against impalement as the weight of the worker against the rebar-cap was sufficient for it to be pierced by the bar. Research carried out following the incident included tests that involved dropping a 20 kg bag of sand one metre onto a vertical reinforcement bar. This showed that standard rebar-caps provide little, if any, protection against impalement on reinforcement bars should a person fall against them, even for a fall on the same level. Rebar-caps are only intended to provide visual warning of a hazard and protection against brush contact with burred ends of the bars. They are not a means to control the risk of impalement. Raising the nuts does not fill the requirement of a visual hazard which is why I think we are ready for blast off. (Super side note if the builders have finished with that area they also might be removed because nobody will have access to that area until they go up). Yes that's right folks you heard it here first. Nothing at all will happen on site for a while or Construction will be amped up. I’m glad I could clear that up.
  21. Are you saving the blueprints of each ride?
  22. The keen eye people, would have noticed the most of the reinforcing safety caps have been removed from the site and the nuts have been extended to the top of the reinforcing bar. This would clear the excess concrete off the deformed bar ready to receive its payload. A job not normally completed until the payload is ready to be installed.
  23. I gave you a positive rep for trying. You did a good job but @JaggedJanine knows her shit. She's not silly enough to fall for the old switch a track manufacturer trick. Whoever fell for it should be down voting themselves.
