Blocking is a waste of time on this site. If I block and you can read my post but your post are hidden from me. Blocking only works for me if it stopped the person you blocked from reading your post. My example is- I make a post which allows you to read it. You reply to my post but it is not shown to me. You might say something that is not correct but I cannot add to what you said because if I want to see your post I have to select show post. Which defeats the purpose of blocking you in the first place. As you can see I have blocked you but you can still comment and vice versa on the post.

I'd always been fascinated by people who allow themselves to be so rude and hostile, but usually you can sense there's something vulnerable beneath them - a shield they use to protect that vulnerable side. Finally, when they expose that soft spot, it's kind of touching. Sorry I just had to add something. AlexB is saying if you can't put words on paper then you are good for nothing and you should never get a job. I don't think Dreamworld ask you to write a essay to get a job. I'm not the best at putting things on paper either but look at me, I do very well for myself. If you are going for a summer jobs at DW then they get so many applications that most people don't hear back from them.

'World Best' Attraction coming to VRTP
New display name replied to Brad2912's topic in Theme Park Discussion
2 problems I have with ride. Number 1. It would look dirty very quickly. Any grease flicking off the ride would have a larger surface to hit instead of falling through the tracks. No 2. Is things falling on the track are more likely to cause problems. On a tube track if someone drops something while riding it falls through the track but if something is dropped then there is a chance the track could catch it. Dirt, leaves, sticks and grease are more likely to stay on the track then a tube type track. -

To add to this- The scale and built form of development within this precinct must address the relationship and proximity to surrounding residential communities. Any development within this precinct will contribute to and enhance the access network within and to adjoining precincts and suburbs. -

Stuff the family. There is always a need for more Roller Coasters. Family rides are great to ride once but get boring pretty fast. The world always needs more roller coasters and I want one that makes me poop a bit. -

Wanda Group to build theme park on Gold Coast?
New display name replied to DJKostya's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I think you need to revisit your costings. the same year mw opened my mother built a 4 bedroom house for 40000. 40000 now would only get you a double garage. Construction cost have gone up at least 5 times since mw opened but yes still a long way off the 2.5 billion. -

I read a report a while ago and I think I posted it on here but maybe not. To sum the report up it said a new park would increase attendance to dw and mw. It showed the attendance figures increase for sw when dw was built and dw and sw attendance went up once mv was built. One good thing about our parks is they are now owned by bigger companies which means they have the cash if they want to inject it into the parks. -
I think they did survive an incident. I have a friend that works at the local fire brigade and they still talk about it how lucky the people where. It was a full derailment saved by luck. That is a major incident. Just because it didn’t end up on the ground, well some parts did” does not stop it from being a major incident and they did survive it. Even the dictionary agrees with me. (An instance of something happening; an event or occurrence) which happened and they survived. Nothing in there saying you have to be hit by a bus to be an incident. I think I understand what you are saying. On Alexb scale of "survive an incident" it did not rate very high. I think AlexB would like at least a bloody nose. lol

Is it not common practice to euthanise domestic animals if you can't re-home? I thought this was common practice in Australia. I believe the RSPCA do it all the time. How does the RSPCA feed all the animals that they can’t rehome them? If the RSPCA where smarter they would sell the cats to the Chinese. They tell me they love to eat cats and they taste like chicken.

Who's going to pay for their needs if we are all boycotting SW?
-
Not really. As all humans should, we learn from our mistakes. It would be shameful if SW continued the practice this but they don't. It would be shameful to let the animals go now knowing that they would have a high chance of death. What are your ideas or what would you do now with the animals currently in captivity if you closed SW down?
-
The problem is Keiko was taken out of the sea and put into captivity. I have seen that argument before but really Keiko should never have been put into captivity in the first place. I think SW do a very good job looking after the animals but I do remember when SW first opened up, SW did take animals from the wild. They don’t need to do it now because they have enough animals that can reproduce now but at one stage SW did capture animals to make money of them.

I was not talking about testing for failure. Testing continues and will continue be used to prove something works. As per video the manufacture only built enough of the ride to prove the theory of the simulation. I was answering iwerks question. AlexB said they don’t build test tracks because they are too expensive and yes they don’t build a whole coaster to test it but manufactures continue to build and test new elements. If what you are saying is true then why do the manufactures continue to build test tracks? I know for a fact that most countries don’t except computer simulation as proof that something works. Being that most things are borrowed only the new designed elements would need to be tested. Example time lol. The National Construction Code of Australia is fully tested. So my example is a job I worked on in Brisbane. I will keep it short. A building that I designed in Brisbane did not comply with the The National Construction Code of Australia. What we proposed had never been constructed before. The N.C.C.A says if I can’t comply with it then I have to prove that it will have the same outcome. So I designed a hotel with all the balconeys and exits on the inside of the buildings. The building basically had a hole from the lobby up to the roof down the middle. The N.C.C.A say you can’t do this because in a fire the middle of the building would draw the smoke to the centre of the building where people are trying to exit the building. So I employed fire engineers to come up with a solution. The engineers came up with a design from their computer simulations. The building was approved on the condition that we would run a test to prove that our simulation worked. Once we constructed the building to a point that we could run the test we called the army in. The army set of smoke bombs throughout our building and after days of testing it was signed off. What the hell is skeetafly talking about and what does this have to do with anything I hear you say? There is a comparison. We did not complete the building, we only constructed the building enough to complete the test before we went any further. It’s called insurance. As proven by the video I posted that ride manufactures will continue to test new ride components.Design simulation is nothing new for engineers, before computers worked out simulation engineers would do the same thing with pen and paper. As I said, I was answering iwerks question if ride manufactures built test tracks and I said they did. Which they do. I never mentioned what they are testing and why they are testing but they do test.Your first sentence is incorrect “It can actually”.

I don't know. What was the fault?

S&S Test track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2chGrSXCw0 S&S 4th Dimension Free Spin Prototype Roller Coaster. Manufactures build test tracks all the time. No CAD can ever replace field testing.

No it means I was laughing at you. You where the but of my joke. My open mic nights I pick on someone and everybody starts clapping. I'm a big hit.

Dude pull the cactus out of your ass. It was a joke. Did you not see I was laughing? I thought my post today are funny and not argumentative. You can see my other performances at the comedy open mic night. Scan that through your checkout.

I think none of our parks are truly up to date with the cancer and sunburn relationship. -
LOL someone is on a power trip and wants everyone to know about it. My guess is a manager of a shitty supermarket. Pretty creepy if your spying on employees.
