New display name

I would say it's a in-house name. Quotes have to be submitted by the end of the month so work might commence in a few months time. Maybe the middle of the year

MW have sent out the documentation for construction tenders and it is currently calling the precinct.

The only thing sexy about Superman is the view of the top hat from main street.

Your bride looks beautiful @Gazza

At least they could be considerate and smoke an alcohol infused vape, so we could get something out of it. When you see people vaping in their cars, it reminds me of a Cheech & Chong movie.🤣

The ride is still down today so unless it's a feature film SW are filming @mba2012it's safe to say you have no need to be very disappointed for SW wronging you.

As long as it doesn't affect me, who cares. A book that might change your life is "The Subtle Art of not Giving a F*ck"

When @Dean Barnettthinks of the perks TPWW received. 🤣

Regulations are more of a guide for the smokers and small businesses. I recently worked on a nightclub refurb in surfers and the drawings and reports had to be submitted to QLD health for approval, it wouldn't surprise me if the theme parks had to do something similar.

It's clearly a cost cutting exercise. DW reduce hours during the week to save money, village extends ride downtimes to save money. It really isn't a big deal.

You and I should start our own blog just to get free shit. We will call it "Dapto & Wally's ins and outs". 👍

I never found SR to be forceful enough, to make me sick. /s

If they are staved of entertainment, why do the parks close so early?

@DaptoFunlandGuylucky I work for myself these days.

If people believe they operate slowly, and people continue to give them money, what does that tell you?

I thought it was a requirement to be 4 or 5 schooners in before posting in here.

Why does it suck @Noll_57? I'm sure they have been around long enough to know, if you go to a park during its low season, rides will be closed.

@JobeI didn't say you're wrong, I said you were getting over excited with this. You said they can't alter it and you have now cleared up what they can alter. What will happen one day when no company is willing to build a new car for it? A whole lot of legislation was written for Luna Park and not just the heritage stuff and if we have learnt anything from SW building heights, governments change this stuff all the time. The ride is protected for now. @Dean Barnettthere is no need to add to what @Jobesaid, he did a good job all by himself.

Maintaining the heritage and amenity of the area and keeping everything exactly the same are two very different things. Who hasn't seen a heritage house with a box extension on the back?

You're right. This entrance is new. /s The whole park is/was heritage listed.

You may be getting a bit over excited with this. The whole park is heritage listed and LP just had its biggest expansion.

Forgot about that one @Naazon. It's a shame Gold Coast parks don't like to do night trading.

And the rotation is set on slow. 😴 If SW ran 2 different cycles it might work, unless SW purchased the grandpa model.

I thought so too. I wasn't going to go this year because it looked the same as every other year but ended up going just to experience the New Atlantis at night. The show on the water was my least favourite of all shows I've seen and if felt like a bit a mess to be honest. I ended up grabbing some food on the way home as the food was 👎 Carnival felt like SW gave it a free pass this year because of New Atlantis. SW did great with the New Atlantis at night, it's just a shame you can only experience it once a year.

What are you trying to say @Tricoart
