Goliath - Adventure World’s new Intamin Gyro Swing
TOTII is roughly 300 metres long, including overshoot. AW has roughly 350 metres wide, and there is about 380m of straight line space north to south that would probably fit, so its feasible... however take a look at the powerbanks for the LSMs along TOTII. they would run either the width, or most of the length of the park. it would slice the park in two, and leave some very ugly boxes right the way along. So, it's feasible, but for such a good looking park, i don't think they need to go to this sort of level to have maximum impact. That and, all they'll get is a big yawn from many on the east coast who have seen it all before. I'd like to think that @Mark Shaw is looking to bring something out that we haven't already got - like they did with Abyss. only time will tell.

@Ryande16 patience... when someone gets down there, and notices something new, they'll take pictures and post them. Nobody is sitting there at their computer going "Should I post these pics I took? Naw... nobody has asked for them yet". Things to remember: there tends to be more updates during school holidays as people have more time to spend at the parks. @Theme Park Girl doesn't work the same hours anymore, so updates from her will be less frequent. (I'm sure she'll still live there as much as possible!) During October, many people go mainly to attend fright nights, and most don't spend the whole day there. Arriving at 4pm or later, its harder to get shots of the area out front as traffic is fairly busy with day visitors leaving and night visitors coming. In the main, the big attraction on the forums right now is Fright Nights. Once its over focus will change back to the coaster There are only so many photos of footings, dirt, concrete pumpers and guys wearing hi-vis that you can post before it gets repetitive. Even if they'd put new footers out closer to AOS\WnW, the photos wouldn't look much different. An aerial photo would be worthy of an update - but sadly Nearmap doesn't update that regularly, and most people don't fly over the park. On that note - if anyone is loaded and decides to take a Sea World heli-tour on the big run out to movie world - take an aerial shot!!! #PatienceIsTheKey

Many coasters have footings outside of the park boundary. Since it is a traffic thoroughfare though, I hope the base is protected from any accidents.

See why we're giving you a hard time about this? On the one hand you say 'from mack' and then you reveal it was just comments on a video, not even posted BY mack, from random people... like I said at the start... grain of salt. If, when you posted the original 'rumor' - if you'd just said: I was checking out some videos posted by <name of outlet> and some of the people commenting are saying things like <blah>. I figure that we're likely to see <stats you think are likely> ...and people would probably have taken it the right way.

Two sides to every story. I don't condone anyone making someone else's day at a park less than enjoyable, but for all we know, the father and son had monopolised the element for some time and these two people got sick of waiting - which would make their day less than enjoyable too. It's like queue jumping, or fastpass holders who use their pass to reride without getting off the train (i've seen that happen at SFMM).

This brand new ride is going to have the longest lines in the park for sometime. Launching with a VR option that negatively impacts efficiency is not on.- VRTP Unlimited memberships limited once again!
Yes. Try here Worth also pointing out that unlike last year, they aren't being secretive on whether it will come back: Worth mentioning that on that page, they offer a VIP upgrade option here which may be of interest to some people like @reanimated35 although i'd be surprised if he didn't already know about it.- Dreamworld Lego Store construction

Whilst the white paint could just be an undercoat, I feel the dark blue has always made the underside stairway a bit 'cavernous' and dirty. I'd like to see it stay white and fresh, which will make it more inviting, and 'fit in' with the rest of the park. Its right out front so better to make it pop!- 2016 US Theme Park Trip Reports (SF Fiesta TX & ZDTs))

Thanks @Levithian - gave me a few ideas too - mine are a little different to yours, and i've only factored in park expansion so haven't allowed for hotel, new carpark or carpark rerouting. Ok - so you'll see i've moved the maintenance buildings out to the middle of the carpark. The black area is the overall park boundary, and then on top of that i've overlaid: Disneyland Main Street. (obviously not to scale) but I envisage a promenade leading to the fountain, with facades, or shops, perhaps even some attractions space permitting (and obviously no buildings or facades could take part of GL because of its proximity to the entrance way. This leads out to approximately the second row of parking, as you suggested. Yellow section is an expanded WB Kids area, with room for more kid friendly attractions, effectively doubling the size of that area. Red section - I have two ideas here - either the red section becomes a new 'show stage' building - providing a stage area for entertainment similar to what LT village had before RRRC was built. (Yes, there used to be a stage in LT Village) - except it would be enclosed, as the showstage currently is. This would then free up showstage for development and expansion, and place a multi purpose entertainment building within easy reach of a park boundary, should the venue be hired or used separately for night events. Alternative Red section - use this space for construction of another soundstage \ shed, thereby releasing the old LTRR building half that is currently used for storage to be utilised as the above entertainment venue, although without as many positives. Blue section - an expanded DC heroes area, where some of the 'lesser known' heroes and their sidekicks get smaller flat ride attractions in the shadow of Green Lantern Green Section - a new themed land - with easy access direct from main street as an alternative route to WB Kids, therefore providing more than one way around the park - adding to the 'occasional' shortcut opened up through the old Chinatown Alley. I have no suggestions for theme, but i'm sure VR has plenty to choose from. Potentially this area, being front of the park, could also have a separate entrance, and the ability to easily close it off from the rest of the park for a night-time entertainment precinct including restaurants etc - conveniently placed close to the prep kitchens behind Stars Cafe for easy access. The carpark entranceway would have to reroute - instead of coming down to the park boundary, it would turn right almost immediately after crossing under the 'road facing WB sign' above the driveway. A new main arterial road would run through the middle, with left lane traffic taking parking on the left side and right lane traffic turning right or continuing straigh on to the far end. I see the hotel potentially in front of the green section, or over on the grass, with carparking out onto the grassy area expanding as needed. Its rough, but its a nice idea. thanks for sharing @Levithian- DC Rivals HyperCoaster construction discussion
The thing is though, Although Movie World is meant to be this big themed movie park, the people want coasters. They proved that when Lethal Weapon was installed. Scooby was an easy gimme. They already had the soundstage built for another attraction, but to expect them to have a fully enclosed full circuit coaster is insane. Well out of MW's budget. So we either get coasters, and be happy with the minimal theming to station and queue, or we do away with coasters and build immersive rides that are fully enclosed. I know that would make some people happy but the GP would then view it as the subpar park to Dreamworld, simply because dreamworld would have more coasters.- DC Rivals HyperCoaster construction discussion
Whoa. Did you just compare Movie World to Disneyland? come on... Movie World has done a great job with DD, and a few others before it, but that doesn't justify that sort of comparison... Batwing? Green Lantern? Lethal Weapon \ Arkham (pre-VR), pretty much all of WB Kids, HWSD v2, v2.1, v2.2 all the way through to - wait what is it now? v2.97853? With Movie World's track record on theming, with the exclusion of Scooby Doo, I think we can expect a nice full circuit coaster, with a decent theme applied to the station and queue... which i'm taking to translate to your 'relatively unthemed' classification.- DC Rivals HyperCoaster construction discussion
I'm quite prepared to be underwhelmed, which then means any effort made will blow me away. Although DCVU and DD has shown us they have the capability to produce mind blowing results, i'm going to have low expectations to avoid disappointment.- DC Rivals HyperCoaster construction discussion
The GL stationhouse IS themed. it may not be elaborately or immersively themed, but it IS themed. A good quality top notch coaster stands on its own. it doesn't need something to be truly immersive - and TBH most coasters of the scale we're talking here generally don't provide an immersive theme, because that is usually obliterated the moment you leave the station. - DC Rivals HyperCoaster construction discussion
