The photo on the Photo Centre has been removed, the queue railings have been removed, the boats have all been removed and the timber they had taken down on the final drop has been repaired

The monorail would fit under the Plaza if it did have aircon installed on the roof, the issue is they wouldn't fit in the station for maintence work, and they would need to redo the station for it to fit Looks like SW now like to repurpose signs and put them somewhere else in the park, so they point a different direction of the ride it's showing

Stage 2 Progress:

Just been to check out the store and thought it was great. I'm not a crazy fan of Lego, but if I have some, I quite happily enjoy building the thing. Was still pretty busy, and some people are going crazy over it. Some people had baskets full of the tubs for the pick a brick wall (Someone had about 10 large tubs worth), and they couldn't scoop the Lego quick enough and it was dropping on the floor. Despite there being a lot in there and people everywhere it didn't feel cramped or uncomfortable which was a positive. Some of the Lego sets were awesome, but couldn't find a price for the opera house set. And if anyone wants the Death Star set, it's only $800. Plenty of workmen in the new marketplace area, and it looks like it's coming along nicely, from what I saw through the outside door. Also, the sheet behind the fence for the vines to grow up, is there because they are currently upgrading the toilets behind it, and the sheet is just stopping any dust/dirt to blow through. And behind the Jelly Belly store is the store room for all the Lego, and before it took this photo the door was open, and there is a rediculous amount of Lego inside

I just visited the store, and is still really busy inside (no queues to get in though). And I managed to enter the park through the store and then re enter the store and exit out of it. But I suppose it may be because it's the middle of the day.

Surely a smoke machine wouldn't have an affect on the track?

^That was my thinking, as it was the reason for the water being turned off for Surfrider. But I just wasn't sure if it was mist, or smoke for SE

I'm sure this has been discussed many times before, but can't remember the reason. Was there ever a reason for turning off the mist/smoke at the end of the launch of SE as you come out of the sound stage? Or was it just turned off for no apparent reason?

Wow, wasn't it expecting it to be that expensive. Damn, was thinking about getting one.

Just to give another idea of how busy it was for the opening of the store, people were queued for over 2hrs once the store had opened

The toilet block is still open, it's just the side wall of it, is having some work done to it

The store is open 9-6 every day

I find it a bit of hit and miss with JL, I have had a couple of times where everything has worked, everything in time, and it was great. But the majority of the time, there is stuff out of action or not in sync. The main thing I don't see working is the door when GL opens it, and Supermans fight at the end is out of sync

I'm very excited for this coaster, and every time I visit the site, the excitement grows more and more. I'm not expecting theming throughout the track, and maybe not even a Pre-show, but I am expecting an immersive and well thought out queue area. I won't be dissapointed if it isn't, because I'm sure this coaster will kick ass, but to take it to that next level it definitely needs some sort of theming, whether it's in the queue or in a pre-show before the lift hill. From what MW have done lately, I have plenty of faith in them

I don't know the extent of how much the parks try to explain to guests who get stuck, or to the media when news does break out, but I do think the parks definitely should explain what's happened to riders if something does happen, so they have an understanding, so things like that post aren't made

For example, JL I think is a really good ride, with great theming, good storyline (even if the end is a bit underwhelming) and unlike anything we've seen in his country before, but I don't think it was something that made people visit the park. However, with the pure scale of this coaster, and it being positioned right at the front of the park, if they push hard with marketing like they did with SE, then I definitely think it will really pull the big crowds and will make people want to visit the park to ride it. Especially also if it's the tallest and longest coaster in the country.

^They have got the hotdog stand near the joker, which they could change into a stall to sell these. And as you say, they could quite easily have someone walking around selling them, and show them off on one of the characters.

In the news reports on TV and radio they keep saying the GD broke down just hours after reopening. NO, ITS BEEN OPEN FOR TWO DAYS NOW. They have also been saying that the HWSW and Shockwave also reopened today. NO, YOU ARE WRONG. Seriously, it's not that hard to get the facts right
