I don't think they would leave the fire effects off because of the heat. They have been saying there will be amazing fire effects since they first announced the ride. They are obviously are having issues with the council and the safety of the flames. I do hope that they turn them on eventually though. It's good that they have added fans. I think a good feature would be having a few small hoses that spray a bit of water in the queue line, this could provide the effect that the storm is about to hit. They couldn't have a lot of water spraying otherwise the floors could get wet and that would be a safety issue for people. If the plastic fridge things at the entrance and exit have been removed thats kind of a good thing, providing it doesn't let to much light in. When I went on the ride people were throwing them back at people. What I want to see them do to the ride is put some sort of wall or even sheet down the centre of the building so that you can't see the end of the ride after the splash down. They should also have a wall in the queue line once inside the building. You can see the storm hitting in that window and the boats going into the water. I don't really want to see that before going on the ride. It kind of spoils the first part (you know whats going to happen). They probably won't change that and its not major, it's just something I would have done in the planning of the ride. ALSO, I heard that Fast Track is now at Sea World and is being used for Storm Coaster is this true?

Thats good to hear, it also sounds like they have either added or turned on a few more effects. Maybe this is because the fire effects aren't working.

Oh really. I'm 6'2" and I find the MDMC really uncomfortable. Especially my legs. The padding has all worn off and it isn't thick enough anyway. My sister is 5'6" and she even finds the ride really uncomfortable. I much prefer Jet Rescue. Even though its story line is pointless (I'm sure if they didn't have one at all people would complain about it) it is a better ride and more comfortable.

They would be installed otherwise they wouldn't have advertised it for months. They have obviously only just realised that there is an issue and they need to get permission. I'm sure they won't use neon lights though.

Yeah I know what you mean, but it is going to be an ongoing topic until dreamworld make the changes that we want.

I can't see Disney buying Dreamworld at any point in time. The only way things could really start to change at Dreamworld is if the current owner sold the park.

I would like Dreamworld to fix any of the buildings, which are falling apart. They also need to: - Get a new train for the Cyclone. And fix the theming in the exit area. - Replace Mine ride - Provide some theming to the vintage cars. Eg. A tunnel, some old machines, etc. - Put in place a system which cleans the water in the lake. or fix the boat. - Add another tower with a couple of slides in www. - Get rid of the dinosaur/rhino (what ever it is) and the stupid mushrooms on the log ride. There is no point to it. - Bring back the chair lift. - Add a camera to the giant drop. why have nearly ever ride take a photo, except that one. - Move the camera on the river rapids. Only 1st time tourists want the photo taken at the start. They could put it just before the rapids section and have one on each side so everyone gets a photo. - Add water and bring back shark to wipeout.

Yeah that would be a good idea, but I don't thinks dreamworld would do that. They just need to get a new train, repaint and fix the queue line (eg get rid of the horrible looking wind turbine thing in the exit.

As the ride has been open for a month now, is the ride breaking down as much? Also, have Sea World made any minor changes to the ride? Are the fire effects and water dump working yet?

I also don't think that Dreamworld should be on that list, but I can see why they have put it there because of there reasoning. Dreamworld is the best family park on the coast. It has plenty of rides for all ages. However the park does need a make over so it doesn't look like it's falling to pieces and a few of the attractions need replacing or fixing. I wouldn't put it on the list, but I wasn't making it. It is just a few peoples opinion.

This photo was posted on another forum, but I thought I would just put it on this one as well. I think the park needs a lazy river and another two with 2 or 3 slides on it.

I messaged WWW about it and I posted what they said here:

I just messaged them about if they were planning on extending and this is what they said: "WhiteWater World does have plans to extend. Even I am not privy to exactly when or what is coming but I can assure you that it is earmarked for something new in the not to distant future. Keep your ears to the ground for any upcoming announcements."
