Okay @JaggedJanine, they are definitely new.

Most of them have been there for a while, however from memory, the GL and SDSC ones are new, along with the DD one (which isn't anything exciting, but better than nothing).

Also, the first train arrived on site today in one of the shipping containers. No photos, but will try to get some in the couple of days when I have my camera.

No, there is plenty more track to be installed. The supports installed today just reach the height of GL at 33 meters, that means there's about another 25-30 metres of supports to go up on the one they were working on today. You can see all the supports that need to be installed above.

It just means the pass selling period is ending (Happens every year), and then a new type of pass will be promoted.

It all is still there and remains untouched (based off what I can see in satalite images), they've just hidden it now from view.

Look at the supports that have been installed. Smaller crane moving supports around, but no major work on the track. And GL seems to operate when the crane isn't in use

Based off when the first details (Mainly the dates) were announced last year, we could expect an announcement on Monday.

I haven't seen that one, and it was only just posted on Youtube. I've only seen the ABC Kids Month ad on TV promoting the $74 pass.

I thought it was really good, and suited the campaign perfectly.

There is a crane in the footprint of the lift hill lifting the first support into place. And also a couple of workmen are on a cherry picker working on the NIL

Yeah they announced back in May when they announced the return of the log ride and vintage cars that it would also be returning

@AlexB you are right, you can see them in this video at about 1:48. And it also shows a little of how the system works

@AlexB basically if you took a river ride and a laser ride like JL, then that's what you get. Or take a lazy river and JL and put them together. That's the great thing with laser river, you have two choices, offering a completely different ride experience. @Tim Dasco would they class a lazy river as part of MI or just an attraction they add. Definitely think a log ride would be a great ride for the park.

Im thinking something like this (The blue part I'm not sure about, but based off the video, they may be using that area) In the video you can see down the bottom there are walls, which I imagine will be for theming of some sort.

I'm not a fan of the Claw because my stomach doesn't handle it too well, but when I've ever visited DW with friends or family, they all have to ride it because they love it so much. I'd say it is probably one of the most popular rides at the park. The ride is about having maximum impact, and this ride will definitely have that for AW. It can hold a large amount of people at once, and is unlike anything anything already at the park. For people to say that they shouldn't have chosen this type of ride, or that DW has one, why bother. It isn't like DW is just down the road, its across the whole country over 4000km away. Most people wouldn't have seen this type of ride before and will be a great addition to the park. And based off the fact there was 12 trucks of theming, its going to look great in the park. Yes there is plenty of other choice they could've gone with, log ride, laser river, etc, but they could be a part of future stages. The park is growing, and is likely to eventually have all those things, it will just take time, and they have to be smart about what they decide to get next, to have that maximum impact on the park.

I think for the Log Ride, it will be a new boat with harnesses (When I've gone to the park there have been no signs of the old ones). And maybe added theming. And for the Vintage Cars, theming.
