The Off Topic Topic
I think it's a reference to the inaccurate claims by some on Parkz, that the designers of the roof failed to take into account the height of the monorail. Also known as sarcasm

The flume removal was my first thought too.

Theme Parks in Europe
June, the traffic was alright. September/October was ok but starting to get cold like Brisbane winters. Use PT and walking in the cities, you'll counter act all the weight you might gain from the food. Planes/trains to travel the big distances. Drove around Germany, France, North Italy and the UK. Italian drivers are a bit crazy and German Autobahns are awesome but not for P platers, they have a very high requirement to get you licence over there so it's nothing to have cars pass you at 200kph when the recommended Max speed is 130kph. Paris Disney is a must, Big thunder mountain runs out of fast pass very early.

Storm 'Routine Stop'
A friend of mine uses "Muppet" as his G rated insult, and sometimes is a bit of a Muppet himself. So the photo of Kermit on the phone is my photo of him when he rings, with the Ringtone being "the Muppet Show Theme"

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster Reopening [Dec 26, 2016]
My thought was have the turntable just around the first bend. Then take @djrappa idea, with themeing on both sides of the track being identical and fixed to the turntable, with perhaps a fog screen (like in Justice League) front and rear to disguise the movement. That way the wild mouse and final drop are still done forwards.

The large one just after the station was operating a week ago.

Carnivale 2017
Last Saturday, the way they where letting people on Jet Rescue the second they queued, after just having gotten off the ride, I'd say unlimited. Some trains went out with 8 fast pass riders on board.

Dreamworld reopening - the summer season
The "sand" looks like oil soak, there is possibly a hydraulic line in there that has been disconnected and fluid has dropped out.

Dreamworld reopening - the summer season
I've not ridden Abyss (but have ridden Saw at Thorpe Park). Superman is great, it's just my inner motorcycle rider that rates Jet Rescue that little bit higher.

Dreamworld reopening - the summer season
In my opinion Jet Rescue is the best on the coast. Fast, with that out of control feeling, takes effort to ride properly (looking ahead, leaning into the corners). Worth queuing for an hour. I don't think I'd wait that long for any of the others on the coast personally.

Dreamworld Gold Rush Area Retheme
"Western adventure" perhaps? Mind you Sea World has the old time photo both between the monorail mid station, medieval castle and the outdoor penguins, so you chuck a photo booth anywhere really.

DV is obviously not deterring them, it's just feeding their attention seeking.

Sea World updates 2016
Most likely to go to Helensvale & Harbour Town to the north, Airport & Robina to the south. The limitation is the shared core network, can only push so many trams through the core. Airport <-> Helensvale will consume the most trams, with the remainder on the other route. A separate spur makes timetabling, rostering and ease of use much more difficult, as well as consuming trams needed for the much higher demand destinations. How many would catch a bus to Seaworld vs Robina, Helensvale, Airport & Harbour Town?

On the Gold Coast, they are seen as moving targets and as such are worth bonus points when you hit them

Lets Talk Wet And Wild Gold Coast
Plus (adjusting for daylight savings), sunset in Sydney is 23 minutes later than Brisbane today, for instance. This being of course because Sydney sits further west.

Sea World updates 2016
My traffic light comment is more about all the traffic lights on the system, even with the priority setup in place, these do impact headway. And as Gazza pointed out, the Harbour Town branch will consume a lot of the services. The crossovers and stub line for the branch are being built as part of stage 2.

Sea World updates 2016
@Jamberoo Fan not quite that simple, as the light rail interacts with traffic lights etc, that has to be factored into the headway. Plus ease of use for passengers to not get the wrong service. I'm struggling to see why a dedicated bus or three can't handle this job as a shuttle? Rail is intended to do the "heavy lifting" with buses etc feeding to and from interchanges. The time lost to transferring to a bus should be less than waiting for the one every 25 minute light rail service. And yes, that's a train nut telling you to catch a bus
