Arkham Asylum: Shock Therapy (Lethal Weapon Retheme)
CruiseSF replied to ads086's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I also think these are the shadows. After watching the trailer they seem to almost completely match the characters. I could see LW become the villain and BM staying in the same position that he was in before but they may change the layout of the building so you enter both rides from the same areas. -
I would say it will be in the kung fu panda section as the mountain suits the theme of the movie. Just don't really see how they will separate it from the Shrek area.

yes it was, but doesn't really connect with kids these days, where reading is extremely low due to technology. -

Look at older Disney rides, Splash Mountain, the film that it was filmed on wasn't that big when they made the ride and is almost unheard of today. Also Mr Toads Wild Ride is also another similar event where the film wasn't popular and is hardly heard of today but still brings in crowds. -

It would be great, if you could post them, as I have no satellite TV and only get the Freeview stations. -

^ the GP don't think of wooden wild mouse coasters as wooden roller coasters even though they are wooden. When you say wooden they think much bigger then the wild mouse.- 38 replies

People wouldn't find it amazing once they ride it. Just like many people gain a hatred of Lethal Weapon, only this ride is much worse. Once it starts to gain a bad reputation for the ride, so other will work out that it isn't amazing.- 38 replies

not along the lines of an attraction cost. By that standard they are cheap. -

Actually something more more descent. Castaway bay and battle boats are basically the same thing. The referb and parade for nick isn't really spending much money. They need to do something everyone wants to see and can be seen all year unlike the battle boats which are horrible in the middle of winter. -

I haven't been to MW in years but I am guessing that the wall at the end was not how it used to be. This was posted by the Theme Park Social Network on facebook. After they have finished this and Maybe the replacement for LT they really should focus on Sea World for a change. -

One problem MW has is that they are trying to build a movie oriented park will limited funds. To do a ride for most movies it requires the use of dark rides. MW doesn't have the fund to be building many dark rides. So therefore they opt for the easy roller coaster option, as they require minimal theming, but with doing this they limit their choices of movies. It basically just leaves them with the DC comics, as many WB films would need a dark ride or heavily themed environment (example - Harry Potter). Not having a go at MW but just saying that they don't have many options, until they find the room and funds to build some dark rides, which they can do well. That's when we will see some different movies being transformed into rides. Edit: Post #300 yeah. -
But you have a larger change from negative to positive from the top to the bottom, where you experience higher negative g's at the top and more positive g's then the rest at the bottom.
-
Its is mostly when you hit the bottom of a hill, just like the end of the top hat for superman. The front also experience's similar g's on that though, but instead of at the end its at the start. The back will also experienced g's at the top when the front is already going down but it is still going up, so it get pulled over the top at a higher speed. That is also why I said to try and sit in the middle.
-
That look impressive. One thing you could do to improve it is to add some more details to the walls (pictures 1 and 8), as the wall seem a bit plain. You could either add some trees or some feature on or in front of them to help "break up" the wall a little bit. If you understand what I mean by that.
-
Anyone know if they will be repainting the roller coaster aka sky rocket.

What rides have you gotten stuck on, or have seen broken down?
CruiseSF replied to Jacko's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I have been on Spider-man at islands of Adventure when the ride chose to have a dummy spit and all the projection screens went off and our ride vehicle started making random movements and completely stopped during the falling sequence so we got to see how everything works, with the house lights on. The ride continued until the end where we got taken through a walk way straight from the exit back to the start of the queue and got to get straight back on for a flawless ride. I have also been in Terminator 2 3D when the film decided to have a nap. The funny thing about that was the audio was still playing, and the actors still thought it was going for a few seconds until they saw the screen and you could see their faces, thinking "what the heck, what do we do now". They managed to get it back up but only for a second and then we all got told to leave and see the next show which we got giving access to skip the queue, when it was time. -
If you black out try and stay as close to the middle as you can, and if possible go more to the front then the back. the back feels the most forces because it goes through the loops and turns then the rest of the train.

So dreamworks has gone inside itself has it. Nice to here work is well under way and that they are making sure to cater for the kids while construction is under way.

Any major movement been happening or is it just same old same old. Any tracks being switch (jokes). By the way alex_1 you lost your chance to destroy Lethal Weapon. (your signature) -
Here is a little park I have just started working on. When done it will be a mix of theme parks, from Disney, Universal and even to WBMW So far I have only got the main street finished. Sorry for the menus still being displayed, was a rush and didn't really bother with using the cheat.
