  1. Well it's 100% not a costume, so what you are saying is that it's a statue, with animated facial/eye movement for the TVC. if so, I hope that's the quality we can expect from the 'interactive' elements in the new area, as it looks great.
  2. Really? You say that like you have some insider knowledge as to that being accurate, so I'm not going to say you are wrong, but it looks 100% cgi to me
  3. You really think Bizarro would get an attraction before the likes of: The Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Joker (if you don't count AA), Riddler etc etc? Zero chance IMO. can I see Bizarro having a presence by way of an interactive figure/statue in the area, sure, but not his own attraction
  4. Well SS's Killer Croc is actually prosthetics and makeup, whereas movie worlds TVC is cgi. For a film, I'd much rather they go to the effort of using prosthetics and a real actor where possible rather than having a cgi character
  5. Have to say the more I see of the superman costume the more I see a cosplay costume at Comic-con. It doesn't fit the guy, it makes him look like he has a shrunken head, what's with the weird neck piece?
  6. I'd say it's just 3 chosen characters of the original concept art for the the new area (and the billboard). I don't think WB would have been too keen on them using Joker, Harley or the bigger name villains being used in Suicide Squad in their TVC as it would take away from the current SS media campaign. Killer Croc is obviously in SS but doesn't appear prominently in much of the media
  7. Any mention of what's happening with the main retail outlet currently being closed?
  8. I'm not expecting any grass.. think you are taking it a little too literally. They clearly wanted a gate as a physical means to close off the area when required and thought that it would look good theme wise.
  9. Shhh that's the 'secret' ramp...
  10. So your dad reads the GC Bulletin.. Sweet story
  11. SE and SDCC are the main two that I have seen countless people not be able to ride on. SE obviously out anyway with maintenance. Not sure on Batwing, but would imagine that would similarly have a lock in level beyond just simply being able to belt up.
  12. Not much movement, just a bit of machinery
  13. At the park and I lot of closed stores with wrapping about new things coming.. main retail store, Ben & Jerrys and Bakery all closed The last school holidays didn't bode well for the Driving School queue theming...
  14. Crazy.. I too visited a few times growing up. think my last visit was for end of season Presentation day for U11s soccer.. Boy was that a LONG time ago...
  15. Well I didn't win Powerball.. hows this though, I've just found out you can't win unless you buy a ticket, I mean, wtf...
  16. You'll be kinda annoyed if you go on the 1st and it absolutely blows...
  17. I'm winning the $25m Powerball tomorrow, so will book a ticket straight after..
  18. On would think the headset will pre-attached and securely fixed to whatever strap/device they use to stop it going airborne mid-ride which would likely exclude you from using your own personal headset
  19. Well it means the link is broken (I got the same pic). also maybe a maze hint... I'm thinking maybe...
  20. WORLDS of Wonder is destined to propel Western Sydney to the nation’s top theme park destination, knocking off the Gold Coast. The new project to resurrect Wonderland Sydney has been earmarked for completion by 2021 with a new location in Western Sydney still to be finalised. Florida-based manager David Bakas has researched some of the top theme parks across the world while developing the master plan that includes all the attractions, resort hotels, shopping precinct and water park. NEW.....Masterplan for Worlds of Wonder OLD.... Sydney’s famed Wonderland “Ninety per cent of what I want (for the master plan) I already have,” Mr Bakas, operations manager of Orlando’s Walt Disney World, said. “It is kind of like having a foot but you don’t know the exact shoe size.” He said some of the rides will stem from the now defunct Wonderland Sydney, such as the Bush Beast, but will harness cutting edge technology as well as setting new boundaries. “Technology has changed so drastically between decades,” he said. “Wonderland was designed in the late 1970s. What we have available now is on such a different level.” How new Worlds of Wonder might look. Construction oat the old Wonderland site. Mr Bakas is closely monitoring a new $5.5 billion theme park in China called Shanghai Disney Resort which opened last month. It has a ‘‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle of the Sunken Treasure’’ attraction specifically based on the Hollywood blockbuster series which uses “trackless technology” allowing the ship to freely move. “We are thinking ahead of time,” he said. “Taking the technology and making it move in a different direction.’’ Urban Estate Developments Pty Ltd owner Ammar Khan said a Badgerys Creek site would be the best location for Worlds of Wonderland. “Badgerys Creek is ideal but the sites are still under investigation,” he said. im still not sure how this proposal can be taken seriously without land being locked in..
  21. I couldn't pay attention to anything he said, I'd have no chance of holding down a conversation with him.
  22. 'Big' Aussie stars? The only 'name' person in the movie is Sigrid Thornton and referring to her as a star is like saying MDMC is a world class coaster.
