How long til they do something about Trident? It’s been the webpage as under maintenance for at least a week now - it’s cycle takes ages and is regularly closed for high winds -

Superman being one of the few operating hydraulic launch coasters must be kept alone. Almost sacred. -

Remove the tilt track Remove the 3D projection/glasses Remove the rotating cars Have a single track station Don't have a KUKA arm in there Not possible, but closer. The alternative is just copy paste the scooby ride from Abu Dhabi MW. -

Cheaper. KUKA Arms $ > Coaster with drive wheels (even tho Gringotts does have one static based KUKA arm! ✨ fun fact ✨) -

That cost $233 million to build. I think it’s a bit above their budget (KUKA ain’t cheap!) Something like a scaled down Gringotts would be good. (Dark ride with a small rollercoaster section in the dark) -

The only way that they could do that is have sessions where they kick everyone out at the end. Not very practical. The way they’re doing it now is probably the best - but yeah way overcrowded for now. -

Yeah - I feel like it really adds value to hulk too - especially how the music reacts to the dive off the MCBR -
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind - Spoilers

You’re not taking into account the rubbish exchange rate and the huge inflation in the states right now. The cost for the skip queue was cheaper than a burrito bowl (and drink) from Chipotle (their mad mex etc) Where as at movie world - the cost is the equivalent to around two burrito bowls worth. The only real line I waited in was Big Thunder - was posted at 60 minutes, was actually 25 mins. The operations are incredible at Disney and Universal - on cosmic spin the trains move very quickly between the ride and the station etc. The train was always secure before the track was ready for it. -

It's very forceful on the way down.. -
I also had the chance to do Cosmic Rewind - and let me just start with - visiting Walt Disney World now sucks. It's very expensive, and requires heaps of planning etc. I only had time to visit for one day - which cost over $300 for a park hopper, which you can't hop to 2pm.. etc .. just really stressful and not a great experience - Universal is a much better option. Anyway my day started at 7am at my hotel, anxiously refreshing the app to get a boarding group for Cosmic Spin - I got one - but the 660 minute estimate was disheartening... then this I obviously had plans to be not be in Epcot at 6pm. Anyway once the park opened - I did Mission Space (I still can't believe a ride that pulls that many sustained G's exists inside a disney park) then Test Track SR then I got this The queue building is amazing There's a middle section that runs videos which sync up with several double projection screens - along with holographic type displays (spinning leds) There's 2 preshows, one which employs the fake room trick like Posidens Fury - after that there's a safety video (wow!) which explains the boarding process You end up on a ramp between the two load stations I found the joins between the trains pretty interesting The ride experience is incredible - you start with a reverse launch (the train is technically launching fowards - but the cars are rotated backwards) - from then it was sensory overload - the projection parallax effect is bloody bang on - then you do a helix around planet earth.. it was just such a brilliant ride - basically Space Mountain 2.0 with a banging soundtrack. Would love to do it again... but I couldn't.. the paid lighting lane option ($25AUD, cheaper than the MW/SW offerings) was sold out. It's exactly what Epcot needs, but would be great in Magic Kingdom.. if that makes sense.

That was to enter the roped off area with characters, with a photo included. Anyway this is off topic. -

Plain clothes but very obvious -
I had the chance a few weeks ago to visit Universal Studios Hollywood a few weeks ago on a very rainy/cold day Regardless the park was packed - and with reservations required for SNW via the app on the same day. Reserverations were available to book til around 1pm. Under first impressions - the land is tiny - the areas you can access on foot (not including the mario ride building), its the same size as behind Coney Island to the picnic area of Luna Park Sydney. Sightlines are an issue The characters don't work in the rain - and either do the signs telling everyone that the characters don't work in the rain. Even with reservations required - and only one entry per day - the wait was.. long. I did single rider which ended up being a 3hr wait for 2 rides. The problem with single rider is you get the boarding instructions, but miss the preshow - which includes instructions on how to play the AR/game section of the ride. When you finish the preshow (or reach that point in the single rider queue) you get a visor/hat thing which the AR device, which is attached to the ride vehicle attaches to via magnets. The ride is a sensory overload - the practical sets / effects would be enough but the AR adds so much more - but its super confusing on the first rides. Going back to the land - and it just felt like a collection of differnet lines.. lines for the wristband activations were like 20-40 mins long, everything inside the land was booked out Once the rain cleared, The characters finally made an apperance. and the way of controlling their voice was very conspicuous - Really surpirsed that, in the same park that has Donkey - this isn't done via cameras. Overall - its a nice park, underwhelming, overpacked - and the actual capacity of the one ride in there is kinda poor. Worth going - once.

COSMIC SPOILER The station for Guardians Cosmic Rewind has pretty much the same layout as DL space, but with two tracks. Monkey see- monkey do. -

The only coaster's that I can think of where you don't see the previous guests board - and the exception for these is they both have lockers outside of the station - is Baron 1898 and Karnan. And superman. (which is slower than both the previous rides combined) -

Monkey see - monkey do. Honestly it's not a big deal - they just need to get better at dispatching trains and shouting less. -

Idealy they should release the next group of riders (with one train already waiting at the airgates) into the tunnel when the train reaches the FBR. This will allow for enough time (at the current speed) for the next train observe the previous train boarding and putting their bags in the bins. -

All I want is the unthemed crew not to stand in an idle station shouting orders at riders. -

Well I wasn't going to mention it but it would work pretty well there - rather than the arcadic method of getting everyone to stand on a footprint.
