Did you mean playland Canada? Because that ride in the video looks like the one at Vancouver . When I went a few months ago I saw it. It looks super smooth and the lights were cool, I didn’t ride it because I ran out of time but it was cool. Flying coaster confirmed.

It’s funny I feel safe puting my stuff in most the boxes but it feels wrong on jet rescue to me.. not sure why. Maybe because the lockers exist it feels like you’re cheating using the station boxes.

You could maybe try contacting Luna Park? Or black pool pleasure beach maybe? Sounds like a cool project! (Edit, for some reason I thought there was a copy of the wild mouse blue prints on display somewhere in Luna park. Not sure if that is true though I might be dreaming.

A bit disappointing for us theme park peoples! They should’ve left them selfs a bit more growing room. This almost seems as if ardent isn’t very confident in DW’s future.

Scooby is gone, there’s like 3 other coasters that will open before it so don’t worry about it. Yep green lantern has a shelf kinda like jet rescue. Dooms day has big storage boxes on the right or left of your seats. (Depending which side you board) Bat wing has a weird shelf/box thing to put bags in. Loose shoes sometimes have to get taken off.

So this rare GC calamari will be even more sought after by poachers.

I don’t think many 4 yr olds are going to care about the voice of the octopus, or what cal stands for. As long as it makes funny noises and moves.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking too like how can they meet heritage standards, and do this complete rebuild. I guess this way they can do a more thorough restoration?

Weird that in the concpet art they show the track near the bottom being dark grey, same as the supports when they have painted that area white. The concept art only shows white at the top. Is the whiteish looking paint on it now just a primer or did they change the color scheme.

Yeah it seems so bazar to see it dismantled like this after so many years of being there. I wonder if they are going to use some of the original wood still or just take measurements and go all new stuff. I imagine some beams would be reused . Most of the bolts would have been rusted and probably had to be gridded to get it apart. In saying that though, in all the close up photos I can find it looks like they have been kept in good condition . Very few look like they are rusted in place . It was definitely well looked after. It’s just odd for such a reconstruction when , from the outside at least it looked in decent condition. It must have been worse then it looked.

Such a shame to see Australia’s last monorail go. It’s not like I didn’t expect it to be gone but it does suck.

I got to go to Canada’s playland last week and they have a wave swinger pretty much straight as you enter and it looks awesome. Definitely makes for a pretty Cool entry . Playland is kinda set up like a fair in that nothing looks very permanent but it still gave me an idea of what DW’s would be like. Definitely a win. Imo.

Say you didn’t wanna bother with RR, DD was down and JL is lame so skip that. that’s only 4 rides left . With that price that’s $44 each.

Oh could you do better? It’s pretty good for a splash pad . The light house is a good addition to the area. And it general this will bring more ocean into ocean parade.

No the Aussie ones were very very hot inside. If it comes back some aircon would be nice though not necessarily needed.
