Yeah but they have a 5+ year plan so we don’t know what’s coming then. But I do hope they realise being Australia’s largest theme park is their only edge on movieworld.

Really is sad. One day it will be grand again if they continue at this rate

Theme Park Worldwide Announce Australian Tour

Coaster studios uploaded the DC rivals reaction video https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjkh67e7az9AhUOSGwGHTovAT4QtwJ6BAgXEAI&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Df4qL7TpDap4&usg=AOvVaw0JYWLUJOpAKRpLvb9GaxJ7 i realised I have never gotten the very last row before the backwards seat. I always get put in the second last forward row Coaster studios were really on a mission. They barely stayed 2 weeks in Australia. Just in and out. They are already on their way to new Zealand- 329 replies

Why would they add VR on a ride with a massive expensive screen?
-
Imagine you can add 1 different ride to fit in at all the Aussie parks of your choice. You can go through all the parks or just a few. The only rule is the ride (which can be anything from a dark ride to a log flume or roller coaster) should some what fit in with the other rides at the park. The ride can be unique for every park. It can be brand new or relocated from somewhere else.
-
This is great to see. Sky voyager is a great ride it deserves more shows. Plus it’s a not to costly way of basically adding a new ride
-
I think rides like TOT2 and MW’s SLC can compete but even rides like corkscrew/sea viper is pushing it a bit

Some people have said there’s still bits a rotten Timber from bush beast around
-
My pop rode Big Dipper 1 in Sydney. I never got to but from photos Big Dipper looked like a cool ride. With the placement. Both the Victoria and Sydney big dippers had great stops. Bush beast being newer was probably more thrilling but I wouldn’t underestimate Big Dipper 1 so my vote would be for BD1

The New Atlantis - Reviews & Reactions

Good to see! I gotta say though in general I am really not a fan of the low mounted POV’s it’s a lot harder to tell what’s happening and get a sense of how big / steep the drops are. I find this with steel vengeance’s pov’s as well. When the camera is attached to the top of the train it is much better and you can almost feel the airtime by watching it. -
I think having two at the same time is not a bad idea the coaster just needs to be operating. Not coming soon. Can recently defunct coasters compete?

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster vs. Wild Mouse vs. Dingo Racer
REGIE replied to TBoy's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I really like it too it’s fun. I didn’t mean the term in a negative way. I kinda forgot what the term came from as a lot of people use it and words like “ect on steroids” but either way I shouldn’t have said that. it was highly unnecessary regardless. The disco room is fun and really adds to the experience.- 53 replies

Abandoned theme parks have always fascinated me even before I fully got theme parks. There’s something so Erie but also Beautiful about abandoned rides and amusement parks. Six flags New Orleans is really interesting, the fact that it’s abandoned and the back of the park is still flooded is just so odd. The vekoma corkscrew coaster just has its lift and loops sticking out of the water

Does it really matter what describing term best suits the wild mouse bit?- 53 replies

That kinda stuff is what’s missing nowadays. People underestimate how much of an impact these type of things make.

Yes I thought it was awesome and it really stood out to me as it would to anyone because it’s unique like you said you don’t need to ride 500+ coasters to know what type of coaster you enjoy. Some people like Taylor from coaster studios have ridden 500+ coasters so after ridding over 50 hyper coasters DC rivals probably would start feeling like all the rest while leviathan feels more unique and special because of the theming even though ever element on it can probably be compared to other coasters they have done, the theming can’t be compared with anything . And since there’s no original theming or story on DC rivals they can probably compare the drop as not as good as “ect” and the non inverting loop feeling like “ect” They probably aren’t going to rank ST very high since they did the clone but for me ST is my 2nd favourite coaster. You don’t need to ride 500+ coasters to know what you like but if you do ride over 100 coasters your every day out and back layout would get repetitive. Thank you let’s do that. Yes orphan rocker is getting a lot of publicity lately major YouTubers have done stories on it such as expedition theme park and I think defunct land did a video too Does the worlds steepest scenic railway count as a roller coaster? It uses gravity on the way down- 329 replies

This is exactly what I was trying to say You could know what you like by riding probably 100 coasters or less, your right. but when I said 500+ I meant thats exactly how many coasters Taylor has ridden. Your absolutely right about what your saying @New display name don’t take this as “your wrong” because your not wrong but @jhunt2was explaining exactly what I originally meant thats all. You have a good point, it’s just not what I was trying to say originally that’s all like @jhunt2said it’s not anything deep it’s was just a comment I made on why leviathan probably stood out so much for coaster studios. There was no deep meaning behind it sorry.- 329 replies

Yeah your right about that. Never have, never will. I hate the stuff. But in the wild mouse bit after the backwards drop up into the turn table where all the mirrors and lights are someone in the train always says “acid trip?” Like every time- 53 replies

I was thinking it’s a shame Australia never got one of those schwarzkopf looping coasters. Would have been good if dreamworld went with Schwarzkopf to build thunderbolt. It would have run more smooth. It’s such a shame mindbender at galaxyland is shutting down- 329 replies

Yeah might as well call it “acid trip. The ride” with the mouse bit. I only realised last time I rode it that in the wild mouse bit there’s a huge spider hanging up somehow I always missed it before- 53 replies

I can’t wait till the reaction videos and reviews come out!! Anymore information they said you can let us in on? Interesting they liked leviathan so much. But then again after riding 500+ roller coasters things like night rides, lighting packages and theming/stories would stand out more then layouts. The layouts probably start feeling the same. I have only ridden very few coasters but there’s not one I didn’t enjoy I would love to watch any royal ride DCR backwards that would be so funny.- 329 replies
