Has this ride concept already been discussed on this board? Regardless, as much fun as this would be, I suspect that none of the GC parks will put a new water ride in for at least another 3 years.

Their trackless rides are so well done. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Rise of the Resistance, this ride. The re-ridability of this one looks to be good. Different cars see different things in some rooms (amusement park for example). Amped to ride them all later in the year.

Makes sense considering the delays. Also, for those incapable of zooming for whatever reason:

A wheel where the fountain is now would give amazing views... of the rooves of the Main Street buildings... which, apart from Sky Voyager, would need lots of work to be presentable when seen from above. Additionally, the facades would be revealed to be just that. ToT's station would be too close to the tigers for my liking (as with Pandamonium's location). Fairytale Treasures' spot might work, but that building serves a purpose to divide the theming of Main Street and Goldrush. If Goldrush is re-themed, plonking the Wheel at Fairytale Treasure's spot would do me fine. Again, would still require work on any surrounding buildings without theming on their rooves.

I'd like to see a fantastic dark ride go in. Something akin to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Trackless, using physical sets, 3D glasses, screens, etc.

I suspect that the new coaster side still needs a lot of groundwork prep. The last pics I've seen of the site show a hillside, and the coaster POV shows a fairly flat footprint. Will trees closer to Blue Lagoon/Train Line need removal?

Urgh.. we only have enough time for 2 at DL/CA, 5 (maaaaybe 6) for DW.. Ah well, rope drop to fireworks it is. Fortunately we'll be there in October when statistically it's quieter than summer, Halloween notwithstanding. We're going mainly for Galaxy's Edge, so might focus on Avengers Campus at CA and do Galaxy's Edge at DW. Also, great advice in bold there, @ejpdtd. ✌️

The 'boarding groups' way of launching Rise of the Resistance at DL (which I believe is how they did it at DW) sounds like a good way to do it. It sounds like the glitches have been mostly minor with this method, only affected by ride downtime. Basically, no matter what time you enter the Park (Magic Hour, or the management opening early to ease the crowds in the Esplanade), once the 'official' opening time rolls over, you can use the app to request to ride Rise of the Resistance. The group you have listed on the app are then assigned a boarding group, and are given notification on the app when you're allowed to ride. You get 2 hours to enter the queue at this point. No Fastpass until it dies down in a few weeks/months. By the time we go in October it will be on the Fastpass system by then, but Spider-Man Slingshot in Avengers Campus might be on boarding groups still.

I suddenly have a very good reason to pour over this thread again! It appears that a few of my Christmases are coming at once - the Finance Department has approved her and I doing both Disneyland and Disney World at the back end of this year, a month or so after @Jessicajealousy and her other half do the best thing and honeymoon there. Mrs' plan is DL over 2 days, and WDW over 4-5 days, with hopefully one more at NASA (like we did in 2009 for a Shuttle Launch). We're about to get into the deep planning this coming week. We have only visited Disneyland Paris/Studios before. It was a Summer's Day in 2013, but fast passes were not mobile-based back then. We got 75% of what we wanted to do in the day. It looks like my post in the Galaxy's Edge thread is going to come true a year early. Now to save like mad. No toll roads, less take-away coffees, pay off the credit card, etc.. @Brad2912 - are you still going later this year? @ejpdtd - you too?
