  1. The whole ride POV is already up on this forum... and Parkz's news section.
  2. Can quadcoptors be used on the eastern side of Sea World Drive? Probably not, being in a helicopter area...
  3. Fully 6 wasn't being built on sand, immediately surrounded by water lagoons, with a contractor pulling out early on. Was it?
  4. The Spider-Man animatronic looks unbelievable. In Imagineering Story, there's more recent testing than in the above video. Some of the acrobatics/poses are very Spider-Man like. How this will be used in the Avengers Campus/Stark Expo areas I don't know, but can't wait to find out.
  5. Anyone else watched/watching The Imagineering Story on Disney+ ? I'm 1/2 way through it. I admittedly had not known much about the creative and general history of the Disney Parks going in to this, and it's been an astounding show. So much Theme Park technology that we take for granted, even in the local parks, was created by the people at WED, MAPO and Walt Disney Imagineering.
  6. You'd think the Justice League would have a more reliable scanning device.
  7. (I was joking about the thunder from the storm.)
  8. Open the link in Incognito/Private mode.
  9. I hope you can ask the prison wardens to put you into Red & Blue lines. Sooo want to experience that face-to-face in the elevator.
  10. TBH I didn't even see the name tags. How about the TRON coaster, @joz?
  11. The walkway alongside GD looks good. Still has me wondering if they will relocate GD's queue, Arch and exit paths, so the whole elevated walkway complex can be removed. (And who as a kid doesn't like a boom gated train crossing?)
  12. They have an Opportunity to re-do the whole junction and queue for GD. There's no reason the queue couldn't be back around towards where ToT's track will be removed from (see pic below). Can then get rid of the arch area and the whole Junction, moving the Train Line crossing to a boom gated one. EDIT - WAIT, the path will go through alongside the GD building. See December Update Thread.
  13. First Park visited overseas for me was Universal Studios/Island of Adventure Orlando in 2009, while in the USA for a Shuttle Launch.
  14. I just made myself sad. Saw the pics above and wondered how the area would look as seen from Sky High Skyway.
  15. This is better themed to a Pirate themed ride. Leviathan to me evokes a Sea Serpent / Kraken type of theme.
  16. Yeah nah. No way would in this day and age would a Theme Park head honcho leak business plans years out. If anything it's a red herring.
  17. After the topic of my 2005 photos came back up in the ToT closing thread, I found the (official?) video of the Matrix Show at Movieworld that someone uploaded. Enjoy:
  18. I've shared this pic here before, but it's one of my favourites. Worthy of sharing in this thread. Taken in 2005 just as you exit the ride room of Giant Drop. Loooong time since it went that high. Additionally, This photo from @RobC needs sharing again:
  19. This plus a Moto Coaster style carriage is getting me a lot closer to my fantasy of a "Speederbike on Endor" coaster. This would better allow moving around logs, trees, "enemies" etc.
  20. If you have a set of wheels at some point, make the trip over to NASA at Cape Canaveral. Can fill a day over there doing the stuff at the Visitor's Centre and free Bus Tour to the Assembly Building, Pad and Saturn Rocket Building.
  21. Showcase? Yeah, point taken. Plenty of space other than that for the Western themed ride.
