Village Roadshow sued for $2m after tourist allegedly trapped, hit on slide
I would assume this implies there was a similar near miss specifically in 2017, 728 incidents it’s probably the media trying to make it appear like the slides were inherently dangerous. I think if the 2017 near miss was anything like the actual accident then that should have been enough of a reason to look for permanent solutions.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks new operating hours
It isn’t a surprising move while I am mostly surprised about the lack of Friday to Sunday continuing to operate at normal hours, I am not surprised by the reduced overall hours as we have seen a pattern emerge over the past few weeks in the entertainment industry scaling down (countless musicals cutting their tours short) along with increased competition (Area 51, Dreamworld etc) in combination with this time of year generally being the least popular I think it was about time that we saw Village take this route. I’m however curious as to if this will continue to happen every off peak time or if maybe we see this be mostly a winter time occurrence and similarly curious as to how Dreamworld will respond, could we see them reduce weekend hours as well? Maybe pause night markets during winter?

Motocoaster Permanent Closure
With Moto Coaster and Jet Rescue using the same launch technology (not electric unsure the tech) and suggestions that JR has been slowed down over the years (I can't find any evidence) I wonder how long JR will stay in its current form. All the other Intamin Family Launch coasters use electric motors for each launch wheel, while MC and JR use a system of hoses and I'm guessing that are hydraulics. I have attached photos as to show what I'm talking about from Motocoaster, Jet Rescue and, Wave Breaker.

It looks like maybe we are going to see something more than just a refurbishment for those who thought it may just be a refurbishment. “Last chance to experience this iconic launch” would suggest that this next ride will be using a completely different ride system then Motocoaster…

Motocoaster Permanent Closure
interestingly IF DW did end up getting a package deal with Intamin there are apparently two yet to be announced roller coasters from Intamin yet to be announces.... If DW is getting something from Intamin I would be more inclined to believe it would be the "Family LSM Coaster" over the Ultra Surf

Jungle Rush Coaster
If an increase in projects is contributing to Rivertown and theming falling behind on maintenance, then the park should consider expanding resourcing particularly additional teams, engineers, and quality assurance staff. For example, Universal Studios employs full-time overnight painters to maintain show quality. While Dreamworld is not on the same scale, a lighter-touch version of this model could be used to support theming upkeep.

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster Overhaul
The indoor queue looks amazing! However in my view, nothing quite embodies immersion like being bombarded with HBO Max ads while queuing for an hour for one of Australia’s most “iconic” rides… might be worth the trade off for the extra fountains and props, however for a park that’s build so much hype I would prefer no ads

Dreamworld & WhiteWater World Wish List
I would love to see a contemporary take on TOT! I can't help but to imagine what a new-get TOT would be like? Even the station building is still there and with todays technology I'd be surprised if it only went straight out and back... I know it would never happen but it is defiantly an interesting idea.

I agree with the general opinion on WWW not being open. I think it is crazy to wait until December 15 to reopen WWW for full week operations, when many school goers finish in mid-late November (Year 12), I do hope that DW trust that people will come to at least have WWW starting full week trading before then ideally mid November. it doesn’t even need to be a full park for full hours. But when summer is right around the corner and DW has no water rides I think it would be for the best to have WWW open to at least offer different experiences then just roller coasters. If we can’t have WWW as an option to visit just for staffing reasons, then maybe just offering the green room tower, fully 6 and wave pool would be enough.
