Shanghai is inherently more challenging to visit with it being main land China and all that goes with that including language. Just something to think about.

Yeah I really don’t think Japan and Cheap can be associated. Sure like anywhere there is a way to visit there cheaply (just like anywhere) but not in any way you want to do on a family Disney holiday.

Let’s look at this from a 4yr olds perspective. HKDL is going to blow his mind compared to Aussie park offerings. Given HK is about the same flight time as Japan and cheaper I would vote HKDL. It’s going to be a much cheaper trip and that money is better saved for when they are a big older and can experience one of the giant Disney parks and appreciate it more. Also once you’re there it’s much less of a hike from the airport into the city or Disney for a grumpy toddler.

1. The Arkham train rebuild has nothing to do with prolonging it’s life and therefore “can only be done so many times”. It’s the required maintenance/safety process. The whole train is dismantled, tested, reassembled with new components. 2. I have never once since opening day used a locker at GL. Not saying others haven’t been forced to, but I’d say the policy has been very inconsistent more likely. 3. GL has definitely been closed since the Vegas incident. It was maybe closed before that so I’m not saying it was closed as a result of Vegas but it’s definiyekh be closed this whole time.

Actually if people are riding it that work for Dreamworld it suggests the ride is fine and the problem is getting it registered with the government for the public to ride.

Here’s the thing. This is a self contained attraction of which they’ve built plenty. You litterally bolt it to the floor of a provided building. So this will entirely be Dreamworlds usual incompetence causing the delays. It’s not like they had to build a prototype attraction. They had to build a building! And ensure the proper fire, egress, emergency planning, etc. The fact they couldn’t get that right shows you how deep the incompetence runs. NO ONE in that whole place has ANY business running a theme park.

I hear they also like to injure patrons and will fit right in there 😂😂

They really messed up saying it was a water PUMP issue which naturally had everyone thinking it was some slide problem when in fact it was the council water MAIN so the park literally had no water for toilets, cooking, etc and obviously couldn’t open like that.

That has been the problem at VRTP historically in that everyone worked in silos. They’ll say have a team of experts at Outback, yet at MW there will be a different group people ‘trying to figure something out’. Or they will use two totally different suppliers from the same industry at different properties. Hopefully those days are behind us.

I don’t think it matters what Disney’s buildings look like. More that Longhurst’s vision is being destroyed. Or what the theme of the ride is. Whats pretty undisputabke is that is one friken ugly damn building! And I have to strongly disagree that DW was successful before it killed people, it wasn’t as dire as now but they could barely afford to keep funding what they had, let alone build anything new.
