I find that highly unlikely due to the focus on Rivertown. It may be a possibility for the future, but for now it just doesn't seem likely.

I’ve mentioned this in another topic, but the RHLR vehicles and jungle rush theming are being stored there, as well as the abc kids and wiggles world signs. There’s also other props that you can see from the exit to Steel Taipan

Looking really nice! Last visit I made I found more theming being stored in the old RHLR section and the abandoned Blue Lagoon water park (RHLR vehicles are also there for anyone interested)

Recently, I have also flown a drone over the site, and it looks very similar to how it was pictured in the video

It was fun having her while she was open, and I’ll be very sad to see her go🥹

Quick update. As most would know, the general store signed facade has been painted white. I’m guessing this is to fit in with the toboggan ride which is normally in the area. I don’t have any pictures but check @ThemeparkOgre and @JaggsJourneys on YouTube they have good videos

Probably will be filled in with something. If they are though, there is going to be exterior theming that will hide the light.

Serpent slayer has again been pushed back for another month to the 5th of July. Vintage cars has kept is reopening date of 21st of June for a while now, so hopefully this means they are actually getting some work done. I plan to go tomorrow and check so i might post them on here soon. Motorcoaster is also still planned to reopen on the 21st as well as the Playschool Wheel.

That is also true. What I was trying to suggest is that theres most likely 4 cycles: the forward train and backwards train most likely have 1 or 2 different cycles each. I may be wrong though. I guess the only way to find out for sure is to wait until the ride opens or Dreamworld releases another update.

I'm not sure, but what I think will happen is because of the turntable, the ride will end up in a different orientation when re-entering the station at the end of the ride, therefore having a different experience on the next cycle. If not that, then most likely it will have different planned cycles that it will cycle in between. At first you most likely will only be able to ride it once a day lol. the ride is by far one of the most anticipated in the history of dreamworld.

That is definitely true. In this case however, I have been comparing DW and MW, not SW. I must agree on you though, as WWW needs new rides, and perhaps a redesign of fully 6 after the accident. With wedgie and the two main slides from fully 6 SBNO, there is a lot of potential for a new area. I personally feel that after the opening of Rivertown, the remaining thunderbolt plot should be given to WWW, and if that is not possible, then the old flowrider and trolls village site should become a part of WWW, as i don't see DW using the area again anytime soon. The only problem with that would be the location of the Gold Coaster's enterance. SW has been recieving some much needed TLC and is looking really good, however after WoZ is completed, Village should focus their attention on Wet'n'Wild, with the park loosing both SurfRider and Aqualoop within the past two years, they need to at least focus on cleaning up the park, as it is beginning to show it's age again. Overall I feel like Coast is doing a better job at balencing upkeep and developing than Village is.

saw your video this morning. theming looks good. Murrisippi motors is also coming along well. the website has not updated the reopening date for the ride, so vintage cars may possibly reopen one more time, but it is still debatable. overall i think dreamworld will definitely be able to bounce back with this. I have passes to both Dreamworld and Movieworld and Dreamworld is gaining visitors at a faster rate than MW. Overall I feel like more people are anticipating Rivertown than Wizard of Oz land, most likely due to the fact that Dreamworld has been doing more development than MW over recent years, with Movieworld's last Big development aside from Flash/Woz being DC Rivals (I may be mistaken though).

After taking a trip to Dreamworld This arvo, I’ve noticed that the general store has been gated off, and I was wondering if anyone knew what’s happening over there. The interior has been gutted from what I can see (pictures below), and I reckon there’s a possibility of a retheme or redecorating. Let me know your thoughts please.

I found it on YouTube, it had the thunderbolt as its thumbnail and search up something like old dreamworld footage with super 8mm mine ride video.

More of a wish list than anything, but either way: 2024: reopening of the billabong restaurant 2025-2027: new Steamboat ride, considering Rivertown is making a comeback, and maybe a motor coaster re theme. 2028-2030: Re Develop Blue Lagoon. It would be great to have this classic area back would it not be? 2030-2032: New Rollercoaster in the old Thunderbolt area. wish-list that will never happen but I’m saying it anyway. remake Eureka Mountain Mine Ride: remake Wiggles World: bring back Buzzsaw, maybe under a new name: bring back Tower Of Terror: bring back wipeout: Bring back the bush ranger show:

Does anyone have any pov footage of the Eureka Mountain Mine Ride at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast? If so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could send it to me as I have looked everywhere and only found one very shaky video.
